Xin Liang failed to leave.
Lu Shenxing thought that Kuhai had suffered heavy casualties and would be quiet for some time, so he asked his advisor to draft a memorial to report the victory and then mention his going home to visit his family. If the old emperor was happy, he might approve it.
The lawyer was in his fifties and had never been home. When he returned, his house was deserted and had a few more graves. His family members were no longer alive. He put all his regrets and longings into it, and it was as sad as it could be.
If there is any news in the next few days, he and Xin Liang will go back then.
Lu Shenxing recalled the plot. Xin Liang would take revenge. He imprisoned his elder brother Xin Yuan, dug out his eyes with his own hands, filled the two blood holes with honey, and released countless ants.
Xin Yuan went crazy and was beaten to death with sticks.

Lu Shenxing dug a piece off the table but couldn't think of a solution. He walked around the room for a few times, called his followers and asked where Xin Liang was.
When he found him, Xin Liang was sitting in the yard in a daze.
There was no grass growing on the surrounding ground, which made the place look desolate for no reason.
Lu Shenxing's gaze stopped at Xin Liang's face, which was filled with sadness. "Military Advisor, you should go out more often. There are many beautiful things in the world."
Xin Liang returned to his usual cold demeanor, his tone flat, "General, I forgot, I can't see it."
The indifference in that expression made Lu Shenxing frown. This person's heart was like a stagnant pool, and what he longed for most was nothing more than warmth.
King Jing gave him a little bit unintentionally, which was insignificant to him and he didn't take it to heart at all.
And Xin Liang devoted his entire life to repay him.
Lu Shenxing stretched and said with a smile, "The weather is very good today. Military Advisor, please accompany me for a walk in the suburbs."
Go out for a walk? Xin Liang's face was briefly confused, but he didn't say anything.
The attendant not far behind looked up at the sky and twitched his lips silently. "General, are you okay? Is a dark cloud overcast sky also good?"

Lu Shenxing squeezed the water out of his clothes, wiped his face vigorously, and glanced at Xin Liang, who was soaked all over. Why was he so thin? He said, "Come here. It's windy over there, you'll be cold."
Xin Liang, who was shivering, did not move. A drop of water swayed twice on his thin chin and fell into the lapel of his clothes that was pressed against his body.
Lu Shenxing walked over impatiently, but he slipped and fell towards Xin Liang.
Under the eaves, the sound of dripping water continued, making crisp sounds on the bumpy ground. Lu Shenxing's arms were on both sides of Xin Liang, completely controlling Xin Liang in his arms. This posture was a bit ambiguous.
