Kill

Kill

Murray suspected he was connected to the organization that killed the prince, but it was too much of a coincidence that he happened to be there every time the prince was murdered, and he never left banquets early except on the day of the assassination.

Despite his suspicions, Murray had no evidence to prove that he was definitely connected with that organization. No matter how much he suspected, he would only send people to keep an eye on him. And that was just right, because Tiff needed someone from the other camp to keep an eye on her, since Hicks had been keeping a close eye on her lately. It would be perfect for the two of them to fight like dogs.

As for the bottle of blood that Muli sent to retrieve, it wouldn't detect any Black Magic Stones, otherwise he would have been discovered long ago.

Tiff pulled the blanket tighter around herself, then closed her eyes and continued to sleep.

The next day, on the street back to the Duke's mansion, Tiffany could hear people talking through the carriage about the death of Duke Ferrand's only son, and how the death was horribly caused. When His Majesty heard the news, he immediately sent people to investigate.

Tiff knew they wouldn't find anything, and that Duke Ferrand, knowing she was the murderer, would not let it go. As Ferrand made his move against her, she not only had to be on guard but also carefully plan how to kill him.

Back in her room, she sat down at her dressing table, combed her hair in front of her, then picked up a bottle of black hair-coloring potion from the table, opened it, and drank it.

The moment she swallowed, her hair emitted a faint glow. Her once dazzling golden hair, which shone brightly in the sunlight, slowly turned black from the roots. She touched the smooth strands of hair.

She took out another bottle of medicine and drank it, but this time more than one part changed; her pupils, appearance, figure, and voice all changed.

After changing her clothes, she took a cloak out of the closet and put it on.

After she returned to the manor, she asked Lily to tell Hicks that she wanted to meet him.

The meeting place was the same as last time, in the working-class area.

Tiffany had already arrived at the room. She sat at the small table, her expression indifferent. There was a knock on the door, and Tiffany turned her head to look. Just then, Hicks pushed the door open and came in.

The lights were on in the room this time, but the person inside was still wearing a cloak, and there was even a faint smell of medicine in the air. Hicks recognized it as a potion that altered body shape and appearance.

There were two people in the room, one sitting and one standing. The one with brown hair was probably the person I had seen before.

When he pushed open the door, the person sitting there was looking over. Then he saw the person pull off their hat, revealing an ordinary face. He knew without a doubt that this couldn't be her real appearance.

The black-haired woman took two steps toward him.

"Hello, Tower Master." Tiffany smiled, looking very kind.

Hicks ignored her greeting and asked, "What do you want?"

Seeing Hicks's indifferent expression, Tiff smiled nonchalantly, "I need your help. Didn't you say you would help me last time?"

"I want you to help me kill Mullie."
