Chapter 31 The Bathroom: Excitement and Guilt Intertwined and Swirled Within Me
On the way back, the two remained quiet, tacitly keeping silent.
Lin Yu turned her head to the window, watching the colorful street scenes slide back frame by frame in her pupils until they disappeared completely.
Night had fallen, and the neighborhood was quiet, with only a few lights still on. The soft moonlight spread down like silver sand, and the branches of the trees on both sides of the road rustled in the evening breeze. Moths, fluttering their wings, tirelessly circled around the faint light source.
Lin Yu looked up at the sky in the distance. The moonlight was bright tonight, and the bright stars were dotted across the dark night sky. The streetlights were not very bright because they were old, and some were even broken, only emitting a faint light.
Fortunately, the moonlight illuminated the dark path ahead.
She kept her head down, still wearing Zhou Ke's coat, which carried his unique scent. She followed behind him, stepping on his long shadow cast by the moonlight. This was the first time Zhou Ke hadn't waited for her. His back exuded an undeniable anger, his back taut with tension.
Lin Yu, however, felt exceptionally good.
That's how it should be. She doesn't want any blessings; she wants her brother to be angry, furious, or even jealous for her.
Suddenly, Lin Yu stopped and watched Zhou Ke's back as it was sometimes swallowed by the night and sometimes covered with a light, faint light.
"Brother!" She stood there and called out to Zhou Ke's back. It was late at night, and the neighborhood was quiet. Her voice was also very soft, drifting lightly into Zhou Ke's heart, causing him to stop in his tracks.
Zhou Ke turned around. The moonlight shone on his sister's head, and her fluffy hair was tinged with a thin layer of light. Her suit jacket was too big and draped loosely over her body, easily covering her upper thighs.
The two sides looked at each other, the streetlights playing a faint role, casting two oblique shadows on the ground.
Zhou Ke saw his sister's lips curl into a gentle smile, and she said, "Don't be angry anymore, okay?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Zhou Ke frowned slightly. Was she trying to coax him, or was she trying to gain forgiveness for her relationship with Cong Yi?
Zhou Ke couldn't describe how he felt at that moment. The fire that had risen in his chest didn't disappear because of those words. Instead, it turned into an emotion he couldn't control, like a sudden tsunami that quickly engulfed him with unstoppable force.
In his heart dwelled a vast plain, lush and verdant in the summer heat. Lin Yu's words, however, were like kindling with a burning flame, falling gently yet bringing the devastating effect of scorching the plain.
He didn't speak, but stood quietly in place, watching his sister shrouded in the soft moonlight.
My sister is so wonderful, why is she someone else's?
Would she playfully push the food she couldn't finish in front of him? Would she look at him with tender eyes? Would she coax him to call her "brother" in her sweet, soft voice? Would she lie beneath him, breathing softly with her slightly parted red lips? Would she endure everything about him and accept everything about him?
Just thinking about it makes me feel like my heart has been ripped out, the pain is suffocating.
No, that won't do.
He did not answer.
He couldn't help but be angry.
...
The key was inserted into the lock, making a creaking sound, and then clicked open the door. Zhou Ke raised his hand and gently pushed the door open.
"Go in."
Upon hearing the sound, Lin Yu walked in blankly.
The clock on the wall was still ticking away. Lin Yu looked up at the time; it was almost midnight.
She bit her lower lip, turned around, and looked at her brother who was drinking water from a cup in front of the water dispenser. She took two steps forward, took off the coat she was wearing, and draped it over her arm. She murmured, "Brother, where should I put my coat?"
Zhou Ke put down his cup, turned around, and glanced at Lin Yu's current attire. She was wearing a white bathrobe, the collar of which had been straightened, revealing only a small section of her fair neck. She kept her expression down, her long, curled eyelashes hanging quietly, casting a small shadow on her lower eyelids.
After a moment of silence, he held out his hand: "Give it to me."
"Oh." Lin Yu handed him her coat, hoping he would say something, but after waiting for a long time, he didn't seem inclined to speak. She pursed her lips and said, "Then I'll go back to my room first. You should get some rest too, brother."
"Um."
Back in her room, Lin Yu first changed out of her bathrobe and into a light silk nightgown.
The curtains in the room were not drawn, and moonlight poured into the room like a tide overflowing through the glass window.
She lay on her back on the bed, her eyes open, staring blankly at the ceiling above her.
Tonight, Zhou Ke was the first person she could remember to show anger in front of her.
The root of all this lies in the fact that she and her so-called 'boyfriend' were in the same room.
She turned over, curled up the blanket and hugged it to her chest, her mind filled with a myriad of thoughts.
Is this the kind of anger a brother should feel towards his sister's emotional state?
She didn't know, she just felt her mind was a mess.
Remembering that Cong Yi was still at the hotel, Lin Yu took out her phone, opened WeChat and found their chat box. She had lied to her brother in the car, so Cong Yi wouldn't ask her where she left; he was asking if she was alright.
Two hours later, Lin Yu tapped the screen with her fingertips and replied with two words: "Very good."
If nothing unexpected happens, perhaps we won't need to trouble Cong Yi to act with her anymore.
Cong Yi seemed to have been waiting for her message, and replied shortly after receiving it.
[Why did it take you so long to reply? Are you okay? Is your brother very angry? Did he yell at you?]
A barrage of questions rained down on her. Lin Yu propped herself up, sat cross-legged on the bed, and replied, "I am quite angry."
[From Yi: That's it. He probably wants to tear me to pieces right now. I've been thinking, maybe we should just end things here?]
Lin Yu: [Okay.]
Cong Yi, on the other side of the screen, was stunned. He blinked suspiciously and asked, "You agreed so readily?"
Lin Yu recalled the way Zhou Ke looked at her tonight, and without hesitation, she decisively replied with an "Mmm." She was betting that Zhou Ke's feelings for her were not innocent either.
Separated by only a wall, neither of them felt sleepy.
Zhou Ke sat at his desk in the room, thinking to himself that his behavior today had really gone beyond what an elder brother should be able to control.
Not only that, but there are even things he can't understand that are slowly detaching from his original emotions.
He closed his eyes, tilted his head back, his jawline and neck forming a sharp line, his prominent Adam's apple moving silently, his knuckles gradually curling into fists, his eyes misting over with a slightly damp crimson, and the veins on his taut forearms clearly visible.
After finishing her conversation with Cong Yi, Jia Yi sent her another message to ask about her progress. Lin Yu told her the key points of everything that happened tonight. As soon as Jia Yi heard this, the 'strategist' DNA that was dormant in her body resurfaced. She sent several voice messages in a screaming voice and with a surging heart to tell her that Zhou Ke was definitely not what she thought, and did not just treat her as a younger sister.
She encouraged Lin Yu to win him over as soon as possible. When she got excited, she even shared several novels about pseudo-siblings with Lin Yu, telling her to read them when she was bored. She guaranteed with her own integrity that they were absolutely good and delicious!
Lin Yu could tell that Jia Yi was genuinely excited, and since she wasn't sleepy either, the two chatted casually.
At the same time, she opened the file that Jiayi had sent her. The data transfer would take some time, so she put her phone aside, got up, and drew the curtains in the room.
Further down, the language becomes even more explicit:
'Ah!! Brother... Brother, please give it to me... I can't take it anymore... Waaah... Brother....'
'Shut up, shouting so loudly, aren't you afraid your parents will find out?'
Upon seeing this, Lin Yu's hand trembled, and her phone fell onto the blanket with a thud. She swallowed hard, her mind went blank, and her long eyelashes trembled as she blinked.
She couldn't believe what she had just seen. She calmed herself down and looked down again. The phone screen was still lit up, and those four clear words were once again staring straight into her eyes.
Her eyes widened, and a blush gradually spread across her small face. Her throat was extremely dry, and she desperately wanted to find a water source. Thinking of this, Lin Yu hurriedly turned off the screen, then put on her slippers and walked out of the room. As soon as she opened the door, the first thing that reached her ears was the sound of rushing water.
The living room was dimly lit, with only a faint rectangular patch of light projected onto the floor. Lin Yu lifted her eyelids and saw that the bathroom light was on, and the sound of running water could be heard in the darkness.
She was about to walk forward when she suddenly heard a heavy, labored breathing sound.
Lin Yu paused, her entire body frozen in place.
The warm yellow light of the bathroom bathed the small space. Cool water poured over his head, mingling with his burning body temperature, sliding down his broad shoulders and neck, flowing over his well-defined lower abdomen, and finally splashing onto the wet floor.
Zhou Ke kept his eyes tightly closed, and that scene involuntarily surfaced in his mind.
Inside the cramped carriage, the aroma wafted through the air. He gazed at her wide, panicked eyes, and his broad palm gripped his sister's shoulders.
The warmth from my palms spread to every corner of my body, and the cool water temperature couldn't extinguish the heat in the air.
Vibrant blue veins climbed up the back of his hand and up his firm arm.
The halo of the overhead light fell on his sharply defined profile. He pursed his lips, feeling his uncontrollable desire gradually swell, slowly reaching a point where it was impossible to stop.
The air was thick and scorching, his breath was suppressed in his closed throat, his taut blood vessels were coiled around his neck as he leaned back, and the last bit of rationality was washed away by the water, leaving only a series of lingering images flashing through his mind.
The moment his Adam's apple bobbed, Zhou Ke suddenly recalled that kiss from many years ago, a kiss filled with the fragrance of wheat and barley, in the sweltering summer, at an inopportune time, the girl's moist breath lingering around his nose.
He knelt stiffly in front of her, feeling her soft lips being haphazardly sucked and lightly bitten. His hands were clearly unrestrained, yet he forgot to push her away, letting her roam freely on his lips, leaving a sweet, moist stain.
The moonlight was hazy, and the light was faint. They absurdly exchanged their first kiss.
Lin Yu stood outside the door, staring blankly at the not-so-soundproof door. The warm light, the pattering water, and the heavy breathing all entered her eardrums without any medium, burning her blood vessels like fire.
The chaotic sounds all indicated what he was doing. She was no longer an eighteen-year-old girl. Standing there, her feet seemed glued to the spot, her ears were burning uncontrollably, and her heart rate soared to a level she could hardly imagine.
Lin Yu blinked her long eyelashes lightly, and those absurd dreams from the past flashed through her mind like a revolving lantern. Her blood began to boil, and her pulse became more surging and turbulent.
A scream almost burst from her chest. Listening to that faint, low panting, she couldn't help but think of her brother, his face, his lips, his slender fingertips, and his deep, dark eyes.
As she was thinking, she suddenly felt a part of her body involuntarily contracting, and a warm sensation surging in her abdomen. She heard the sound of a babbling brook mixed with a low, muffled murmur.
Her heart was pounding so hard it felt like it was about to burst into her throat. She bit her lower lip tightly, trying her best to keep herself from making a sound.
...
My mind is filled with images of my younger sister. One moment it's the way she kissed me when I was eighteen, and the next it's that voluptuous figure I glimpsed tonight.
Will she, like she used to, take his hand and offer her lips to him? Will she be so open with him? Will that bastard visit her body? Will he stay inside her? Will he?
The thought of this inevitably brought tears to Zhou Ke's eyes.
The ever-accumulating desires floated and sank in my heart, eagerly awaiting an outlet for their release.
Time passed silently until finally, a fleeting glimpse of white light flashed past.
Zhou Ke suddenly lost all his strength, a heavy breath escaping from his lips. He slowly opened his eyes, his gaze filled with a thick, murky light. He lowered his head slightly, his bloodshot eyes staring at the thick, sticky white, his eyes twitching involuntarily.
Cold water cascaded down his broad shoulders and chest, then poured over his lean waist. After several repetitions, his emotions began to calm down a little.
As reason returned, a hint of pain gradually surfaced in his dark eyes under the warm light of the bathroom.
Humans have seven emotions and six desires, which are an unbreakable bond. Physiological phenomena are something everyone has to face, and he is no exception. But what is he doing?
He was actually thinking about his younger sister, the sister he had raised with his own hands, the sister he had vowed to protect for the rest of his life. Excitement and guilt intertwined and swirled within him.
He was blinded by rage and fantasized about having sex with his sister. Even now, the image of his sister in his mind could not be erased by the sin. He frowned and pressed his lips tightly together.
An overwhelming sense of panic gripped him.
Zhou Ke stared intently at the exhilarating outcome of the battle, and a seemingly absurd yet undeniable truth gradually surfaced in his mind.
It seemed that he had stepped into an abyss from which there was no turning back.
Back in her room, Lin Yu was still reeling from what had just happened. The muffled groan kept echoing in her mind like a 3D surround sound, refusing to leave.
This wasn't a dream, but real, the sound of my brother's panting came through a door.
This realization gradually aroused a secret sense of excitement in her.
It turns out that my brother also has desires and does such things on ordinary days. But at that moment, who was he fantasizing about and thinking about?
