Duofu stretched out its claws and transformed back into human form. It scrambled up from the cushion and prepared to walk towards the door.
If he's drunk, his pet owner wouldn't be in the study. Since he's not in this room, he must be taking a shower on the other side.
He should go and see; he might just get a good look at it.
With wide, excited eyes, Duofu lifted his foot to the door, but before he could even step out, he had just opened it.
Then I could see it in the distance.
Su Peisheng was helping his cat owner, whose face was flushed, walk step by step toward him.
You could still see moisture on her body, so she must have just taken a bath not long ago.
A hint of disappointment flashed in Duofu's eyes; such a good opportunity had been missed.

Duofu scratched some of his messy hair, his big, bright eyes staring as his pet owner walked towards him.
Under the moonlight, she walked slowly towards him, one step at a time, her steps unusually steady.
Aside from his flushed face and somewhat dazed eyes, you really couldn't tell from other aspects that his pet owner was drunk.
Duofu quickly walked over and jumped into his owner's arms.
