Chapter Twenty-Four: School Ghost Stories 24
The morning fog was so thick that you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.
Early in the morning, everyone went to the playground for morning exercises, but Lu Cen was extremely sleepy.
He was perfectly energetic last night, but for some reason, he didn't hear what was said after that. What's even stranger is that he woke up in his own bed.
The playground was sparsely populated, and every face was filled with numbness and vigilance.
Lu Cen found her class and stood at the back.
After running three laps, he was breathing heavily, and his feet felt like they were weighed down by sand. He glanced around the field and noticed that Su Yi'an was not there.
I did run into the student in front of me halfway through.
"Are you alright last night?"
Lu Cen: "It's nothing, how about you?"
"I'm fine too." The student in front of me said worriedly to Lu Cen, "Be careful from now on. I think everyone in this school has gone crazy."
Early morning study sessions were in English, which made Lu Cen's time very difficult.
Xie Lin glanced at him intentionally or unintentionally, and then gave the few students in the class a cruel announcement: "There will be a pop quiz on English tomorrow morning."
Lu Cen stopped writing; he suspected Xie Lin was targeting him.
This behavior is designed to lure him in; this person has become addicted to bribing teachers by pretending to be a student, and he enjoys it immensely.
Lu Cen knew he couldn't possibly pass the exam; if he failed, he would disappear. Xie Lin had a firm grasp on his psychology and knew he wouldn't refuse.
During the break, Lu Cen had no choice but to slowly walk to the office.
Xie Lin sat in a chair, typing on a keyboard. He wasn't surprised at all by Lu Cen's appearance. The familiar scent of his perfume filled the office. Lu Cen felt dizzy as soon as he stepped in. He closed the door on his own, earning a surprised look from Xie Lin.
The other person didn't speak, just stared at him quietly.
Lu Cen felt uncomfortable under his gaze and asked with a sliver of hope, "Is an exam really necessary?"
"Exams are to test whether you have been paying attention in class."
Seeing him say this so seriously, Lu Cen really wanted to punch him, but she had no choice but to bow her head when she was under someone else's roof: "Then is there an answer...?"
Xie Lin leaned back in his chair, legs outstretched, a smile on his lips. He didn't answer, but instead said, "Come closer."
The adult man was confident, his age and experience almost overwhelming the boy's understanding. He was skilled and effortlessly grasped the boy's body, mind, and even thoughts: "Help me take off my glasses."
Lu Cen approached and reached out to pick it, but Xie Lin patted his leg. Lu Cen sometimes hated his own comprehension skills, and he found it hard to pretend he didn't understand, so his expression stiffened.
After a few seconds of confrontation, Lu Cen gave in, staring at those legs, unsure of what to do. Xie Lin was wearing dress pants today, and his legs were long and well-proportioned.
Lu Cen gritted his teeth, lifted one foot, and stepped onto it.
As his hips landed and he felt the other's body heat, Xie Lin pulled him up and sat him in a more private position. Lu Cen blushed and almost jumped up.
Yesterday, Xiang Ming pinned him against the wall, and he felt that he had crossed the line enough. But as it turns out, people's bottom lines are meant to be crossed.
With trembling, pale fingers, Lu Cen removed the glasses and placed them on the table. Without the glasses, Xie Lin appeared more casual, his scholarly air diminished, and a sharp edge emerged.
Xie Lin patted his back as a reward, kissed his ear, and whispered in his ear, "The answers are in my dorm. I've already written them down. Come and get them tonight."
Lu Cen understood that the exam was only targeting his behavior.
Lu Cen returned to the classroom dejectedly, and Su Yi'an knocked on the desk.
"What's wrong?"
"nothing."
"Why do you look so listless? Are you worried about failing the exam?" Su Yi'an said, "I can help you."
Lu Cen wanted him to help, but Xie Lin was proctoring the English exam. If he was found out, his score would definitely be zero, and it would also implicate Su Yi'an. Even if he had a lot of courage, he wouldn't dare to do it.
He reluctantly rejected Su Yi'an's proposal; even his heart ached slightly.
After finishing his classes during the day, it was evening, and the campus felt like he was all alone. He looked at the messages Xie Lin had sent him on his phone and headed towards his destination.
The teachers' dormitory was a single room in a remote location. From a distance, Lu Cen saw Xie Lin waiting for him on the second floor, his hands resting on the railing. He had just taken a shower, his hair was slightly damp, and loose clothes covered his body, giving him a furniture-like feel. Lu Cen was stunned for a moment and looked up at him.
Their eyes met in mid-air. Lu Cen saw what Xie Lin said, but he didn't hear it clearly. After a while, he went into Xie Lin's room.
It's a very simple one-bedroom apartment with very few items; it's almost too minimalist.
The only standout feature is Xie Lin's everyday life, which carries a strong hormonal scent.
Xie Lin said, "Go take a shower."
Lu Cen was pushed into the bathroom before he could even react. He wondered why he had to take a shower. He was stunned for a while before he started moving. Thinking about the reason, his movements slowed down, and he didn't come out until it had been more than half an hour.
He was wearing Xie Lin's clothes. He had fair skin and could wear anything well. He walked out slowly, with a cigarette in his hand.
The smoke drifted lightly in the air. Xie Lin looked Lu Cen up and down. Gradually, the emotions in his eyes deepened, and his voice became a little hoarse: "Go lie down on the bed. I'll finish this one."
Lu Cen had no choice but to obey, but he didn't take off his clothes. The bedding should have been changed, and the faint scent of laundry detergent enveloped Lu Cen's entire body, making his doubts grow stronger.
Why do I always feel like something's not right?
Based on his experience, 2244 asked him, "Have you ever been in a relationship?"
"No."
2244 was silent for a while, then subtly reminded him. Upon hearing this, Lu Cen instantly jumped up from the bed, his face turning red, then white, then pale.
"That's so twisted." Lu Cen: "Maybe I should just run away."
"No exam tomorrow?"
"Should I pretend to faint, or is there any way to make me faint?"
Xiao Si was speechless: "No."
Lu Cen, in despair, clutched the blanket with both hands: "If I break my promise..."
"I might not live to see tomorrow."
Suddenly, the edge of the bed sank.
Lu Cen stole a glance and saw Xie Lin taking off his shirt. His strong, muscular physique was clearly visible, with his lower body hidden beneath the fabric. An aura of masculine aggression enveloped the space.
Lu Cen was stunned, then tried to make conversation: "Teacher Xie, do you know Xiang Ming?"
"know."
Lu Cen's eyes lit up: "How did you meet?"
"Honey, do you think I'd be happy if you brought up other men at a time like this?"
