Chapter 98

Chapter 98

He seldom spoke, and his enemies were always killed with one blow.

At most, he could let out a cold snort through the collar he wore around his neck all year round.

The cold auxiliary mechanical sound made this enemy's most hated hawk look much like his master Aiden Eslan.

They are all so cold and ruthless.

At this moment, Lord A'mo's true voice was surprisingly young.

This made the anger in his tone more real.

Gavin Gray's mind was in a state of flux, moving faster than the revolving lantern before a person's death.

Regardless of one's position, allowing Lord Amer and His Majesty Aiden to quarrel under such circumstances would not be a good outcome.

Lord Amer has been with Aiden Eslan for eight years since his sudden appearance.

It has not changed in eight years.

Gavin Gray forced a smile and looked up to say something.

He saw a scene that he would never forget.

Amidst Gavin Gray's shocked gaze, Americus reached out and grabbed Aiden Etherland's collar without hesitation.

His knuckles turned white from exerting too much force, and the sound came out from between his teeth.

"Tell me, you still think so, right?"

Americus gritted his teeth in hatred.

Aiden's attitude has been softening these days.

It was so intense that Amerys felt for a moment that he had changed his mind and no longer intended to let An Zhi make the same mistake again.

However, Aiden's words "Don't let the news leak out for the time being" completely ignited Americus's anger.

Aiden Eselan stood up, his eyes cold and emotionless as he stared at Ameris.

"This is what we agreed on long ago, right?"

Aiden's voice was devoid of warmth as he stated the cruel fact that had already been written.

"She could have passed away peacefully without feeling any pain or suffering."

The word "leave" that Aiden mentioned is an unspoken word in the context of the Eselan family.

Death is a kind and efficient way to end a life, allowing those Eselans who are destined to suffer a mental breakdown to end their lives in a peaceful way before the pain comes.

"But you took on the responsibility of letting her live to adulthood, going through a period of mental turmoil and development, living in fear of the imminent uprising."

Aiden Eslan laughed sarcastically: "Did I forget to inform you of something?"

"Before that, if you died, do you think I would send her down to accompany you?"

The meditation room is said to be able to suppress the collapse of mental power, but Aiden Eslan always believed that the pain was actually accelerating Eslan's death.

Is it a relief to exchange a quicker death for a brief moment of clarity?

Americus didn't know.

Just like he couldn't understand for a long time why his brothers and sisters voluntarily went into that annoying little room one by one instead of coming out to play with him.

Many times, when I open the door to the meditation room, the noisy but lovely family member who once lived there is no longer there.

It was a ferocious beast that had lost its mind and was trapped in chains, trying with all its strength to break free.

The last time Americus entered the meditation room was when Breno died.

Thinking of this, Aiden simply added fuel to the fire and tore open the bloody memories again:

"Or do you want to repeat the original plot?"

"Just like you hugged Breno, to make her realize that her life was nothing but a ridiculous drama that had been planned long ago?"

Americus punched Aiden in the face, but was easily caught by Aiden.

For the first time, the two of them laid everything out in the open.

"She's your family too!"

"Really? That's such a pity. My family all died at my own hands."

The spiritual power of both Eselans was released, and they charged like fighting beasts, biting each other in the air.

Fortunately, the two of them still remembered to control their mental power within a certain range.

Gavin Gray at the door began to vaguely feel danger and something was wrong. He didn't know whether he should leave or stay where he was, and cold sweat oozed from his palms.

Fortunately, Padre De came back at some point.

He bowed politely to the two of them and said, "Please follow me. The hovercraft to take you away has been arranged."

Gavin Gray and Yang Jingyu immediately followed Adelaide out of the scene as if they had grabbed a life-saving straw.

Padre was considerate enough to close the door when he left.

In the reception room, the two people finally released all their mental strength without any scruples.

The highly reinforced glass vibrated and creaked.

Aiden Esseran could be said to not care at all about Americus's hand pinching his collar.

Many times, he would tolerate his youngest brother.

Aiden turned his head to avoid a ball of exploding mental power. The flying paper left a small bloody mark on the side of his face, which was healing rapidly at this time.

The smell of blood brought back some of Americus's sanity.

Americus tightened his grip on Aiden's collar.

With his other hand, he drew the sword that had been hanging at his waist, with the hilt facing forward, and passed it across the short distance between the two of them, almost handing it to Aiden Eslan.

"So you're going to kill me now?"

Aiden didn't move, looking at him with calm eyes: "You are sober."

Americus said, "So what? You've already arranged it, haven't you?"

He said, "Kill me, brother."

Americus couldn't bear the sight of him sending An Zhi away.

Aiden Esserland suddenly found it a little funny.

His younger brother is soft-hearted, fragile and naive.

"Don't try to provoke me, Americus."

"So what? When you killed your father and brothers, they were also conscious, weren't they?"

Those Eslans who had once lived all chose to die during the few moments when they were lucid.

"Now I have to choose my own path," said Americus.

As soon as Americus said this, the papers flying around him stopped moving and froze in mid-air.

Americus's mental strength was pressed back into his body inch by inch.

Aiden Eslan's mental power began to occupy every inch of space in the reception room, pinning Americus firmly to the spot.

The sword and scabbard collided, making a cold metallic sound.

Aiden Etherland thrust the hilt back with such force that Amerys's hand was jolted back half an inch.

Aiden didn't stop there. He grabbed Americus's neck and slammed him against the wall behind him, making a loud "bang".

His back hurt, and Americus made a sound of pain.

He gritted his teeth, trying not to appear weak.

Amer knew that Aiden Eslan was angry.

He had almost forgotten how angry Aiden looked.

Aiden leaned close to Americus's ear and said word by word:

"Don't try to provoke me."
