Chapter 51 is wonderful; she is now his rightful wife. It's not like that for me...

The first gentle breeze of dawn stirred the red curtains, startling the sleeping person in bed. Shang Xu groggily opened his eyes, still dazed from just waking up, and stared blankly ahead.

"woke up?"

The cool voice entered his ears, awakening Shang Xu's dormant memories. The confusion in his eyes faded, replaced by a touching shyness. He turned his head and met a pair of gentle eyes.

She had already woken up, propping her head up with her hand, looking at him tenderly. The tenderness in her eyes made him unable to resist being captivated. The scene from last night uncontrollably flashed before Shang Xu's eyes, and his face flushed, a blush spreading across his cheeks. He immediately lowered his eyes shyly, "Your Highness woke up, why didn't you wake me?"

He was stunned as soon as he opened his mouth; why was his voice so hoarse?

“You were sleeping soundly, why would I wake you?” Yan Yize answered his question with a smile, then threw off the covers and got up, only to turn back after a few seconds. “Your voice is hoarse, have some water.”

Shang Xu looked up, and the first thing that caught her eye was her long, beautiful hand, with a pretty celadon teacup between her fingers, steaming hot.

It was a perfectly normal scene, but what she saw before her eyes was the sight of those beautiful hands stroking his body, making her tremble uncontrollably.

Seeing that he didn't drink for a long time, Yan Yize mistakenly thought that he didn't want to drink, so he patiently persuaded him: "Drink a little, it will make you feel much better."

Shang Xu snapped out of his daze, his face flushed, and he reached out to take the gift with a darting gaze. Now, whenever he saw her, all he could think about was what had happened last night. He was completely unable to face her and even stammered, "Thank you... thank you, Your Highness."

Upon hearing his thanks, Yan Yize sighed helplessly and said seriously, "Shang Xu, you are already my husband, there's no need to be so polite to me."

Shang Xu paused as he took the teacup, then nodded. "I understand."

He lowered his head and carefully took a sip. The temperature was just right, so he didn't have to worry about burning himself. He then took a few more sips, and the water flowed down his throat, making him feel much better immediately.

He had only intended to drink a little, but before he knew it, he had finished the whole cup of water. Feeling a bit embarrassed, he handed her the celadon teacup and subconsciously wanted to thank her. But when he met her gaze, he suddenly remembered what she had just said, and swallowed the words that were on the tip of his tongue.

Yan Yize took it and stared straight at him, clearly anticipating what he was about to say. She had already figured out how to teach him a lesson for being so forgetful, but he only moved his lips slightly and then said nothing more.

She raised an eyebrow in satisfaction. Good, he's learned his lesson. Then, her gaze fell regretfully on his rosy lips. What a pity.

"Would you like more?" Yan Yize moved the empty celadon teacup in his hand.

Shang Xu looked up and met her eyes, which were filled with concern. His heart fluttered. He had just drunk water, but now he felt as if he had drunk honey. He gently shook his head and said, "I won't drink anymore."

The person in front of him was extremely well-behaved. Because he had just woken up, his clothes were a little disheveled. Yan Yi was standing, and with his eyes lowered, he could take in all the scenery in front of him.

His skin was snow-white, but now it was marred by scattered, ambiguous red marks, like a piece of broken jade. When Yan Yize thought that he was the one who left those marks, his eyes darkened.

At the same time, I felt a little guilty and heartbroken. I used too much force and I'll be more careful next time.

"good."

Yan Yize nodded, took the celadon teacup, and left.

As soon as she turned around, Shang Xu couldn't wait to roll up his sleeves. The ambiguous red marks on his wrists made him embarrassed. He forced himself not to care and instead looked for the bright red cinnabar mole. After a careful examination, he could no longer find the cinnabar mole on his wrist.

Shang Xu was momentarily lost in thought, feeling a bittersweet feeling in his heart. It was wonderful; she was now his rightful wife.
