Ye Fanxing hadn't expected herself to be so fragile.
She only got caught in the rain for a short while and now she has a fever.

Huo Dongfang placed Ye Fanxing on a stretcher, and medical staff pushed her into the emergency room.
Huo Dongfang sat anxiously on a bench outside the emergency room, waiting for the doctor to treat Ye Fanxing.
After an unknown amount of time, the emergency room door opened.
The doctor came out and said to Huo Dongfang, "He was given an antipyretic injection, and the fever has gone down. It's probably due to weakness caused by long-term malnutrition."
Huo Dongfang breathed a barely perceptible sigh of relief and said in a deep voice, "Arrange for hospitalization."

When Ye Fanxing was wheeled into the ward, Huo Dongfang called the Huo family and asked Huo's mother to prepare some clean clothes for Ye Fanxing.
When Huo's mother, who was preparing for the engagement banquet with Grandma Huo, heard that Ye Fanxing was hospitalized, she couldn't care less about the engagement banquet and immediately packed her change of clothes and rushed to the hospital.

Ye Fanxing called out in a daze.
Mrs. Huo patted Ye Fanxing tenderly and coaxed her softly, "Mommy's here, be a good girl, Xingxing."
"Mom, I'm cold."
Ye Fanxing murmured in her sleep.
Mother Huo forced herself not to shed a tear and said in a hoarse voice, "Xingxing, be good, you won't be cold in a little while."
Even though Mrs. Huo knew that Ye Fanxing felt cold because of her fever and IV drip, she still felt extremely distressed.
After coaxing Ye Fanxing, she put Ye Fanxing's clothes into a bag and took them home to wash.
"It's all changed, come in."
Huo Dongfang pushed open the door and entered.
Mrs. Huo, carrying the bag, said in a hoarse voice, "Xingxing is too thin. She needs to be nourished. You stay here with Xingxing, and I'll go back and make her some nutritious meals."
"Mom," Huo Dongfang called out, "Don't tell Grandma about Xingxing's illness."
"Do you think I can keep quiet?" Huo's mother was too lazy to waste words with Huo Dongfang. "Just take good care of Xingxing and don't worry about anything else."
After Huo's mother left in a hurry, Huo Dongfang sat by Ye Fanxing's bedside.
The torrential rain only gradually subsided as night fell.
The air was filled with the fresh scent of rain.
The nurse was worried that Ye Fanxing would have a recurring high fever, so she took Ye Fanxing's temperature repeatedly to make sure that Ye Fanxing did not have a high fever again.
After an unknown amount of time, Ye Fanxing finally opened her eyes.
She stared at the incandescent light above her head, dazed for a long while, before finally saying in a hoarse voice, "Uncle Huo..."
