Upon hearing Ye Fanxing's voice, Huo Dongfang asked with concern in his eyes, "Xingxing, are you feeling better?"
"Much better."
Ye Fanxing responded weakly.
Seeing Ye Fanxing so weak, Huo Dongfang first poured her a glass of warm water, then helped her sit up.
"Have some water first."
When Ye Fanxing sat up, she realized she had changed into her pajamas.
Just as she was wondering, Huo Dongfang said, "Mom changed it for you. Drink some water first. Mom brought you a nutritious meal."
"And you?"
"I've already eaten."
Ye Fanxing drank some water to moisten her throat and then ate the nutritious meal that Huo's mother had brought.
She initially thought the bland nutritional meal would be tasteless, but when she took her first bite, she found it to be a delicacy.
"Eat slowly, don't rush."
After placing the nutritious meal on the small table, Huo Dongfang sat back down in his chair.

Just as Ye Fanxing finished her nutritious meal and got out of bed to walk around, a series of eerie wails suddenly came from the next ward.

As soon as Ye Fanxing and Huo Dongfang opened the door, Lu Xiangrong rushed out of the ward wearing a blue and white hospital gown.
Just as Lu Xiangrong was about to bump into Ye Fanxing, Huo Dongfang reached out and pulled Ye Fanxing into his arms.

Just as Lu Xiangrong was about to reach out to grab Huo Dongfang, Huo Dongfang pulled Ye Fanxing aside to avoid Lu Xiangrong's hesitation.
Looking helplessly at Lu Xiangrong, who seemed to have gone mad, Lu's mother said, "Xiangrong, come back to the ward with me!"
Lu Xiangrong held her lower abdomen in her hands, pleading desperately, "Huo Dongfang, for the sake of our past engagement, please help me! Please acknowledge this child, okay?"
