Chapter 36 Awakening
When Li Lianhua woke up, he felt warm all over, so comfortable that he wanted to close his eyes and go back to sleep. He did close his eyes, but as soon as he did, he suddenly sat up. He looked around at the familiar surroundings. "This is... Yunyin Mountain." How did he get back? As if remembering something, he rushed out without even putting on his shoes.
Outside, Qi Mushan and Qing'er were sitting there drinking tea and chatting. Li Lianhua rushed out and saw Qi Mushan. Her eyes were slightly red as she called out, "Master!" After calling out, she rushed up and hugged Qi Mushan tightly.
Qi Mushan patted him on the back and said, "You brat! You didn't even come back when you were wronged."
Li Lianhua suddenly felt very wronged and burst into tears, crying out all the grievances she had suffered in the past two days.
Hearing the commotion in the kitchen, Granny Cen came out and said, "Xiang Yi."
Li Lianhua released Qi Mushan and looked at Granny Cen, saying, "Master's wife, I'm sorry for making you worry."
"It's good that you're back." Granny Cen stepped forward, gently wiped away Li Lianhua's tears, and said lovingly, "It's good that you're back. Your master's wife will cook you something delicious."
Li Lianhua sniffed and smiled sheepishly.
"You brat! We have guests here, hurry up and go back and wash up. Aren't you ashamed?" Qi Mushan said irritably from the side.
At this moment, Li Lianhua noticed Qing'er beside her, her face instantly turned red, and she quickly ran into the house, even using her shuffling steps.
"Pfft!" Qing'er burst out laughing when she saw him being chased by a ghost.
"Haha," Qi Mushan also burst into laughter.
"This child," Granny Cen shook her head helplessly and went towards the kitchen.
The current Li Lianhua is not as thick-skinned as she was later, so when she heard their laughter after returning to her room, she wished she could find a hole to crawl into.
A moment later, as if remembering something, he circulated his inner energy, and then, with a look of shock, his inner energy was restored, and the poison was cured. Who cured him? Remembering that Qing'er was the only one beside him before he fainted, could it have been her?
When he came out again, he appeared to be perfectly calm, sitting down next to Qi Mushan as if nothing had happened. But his bright red ears said it all.
"You brat, now that you're back, stay here and keep your master and mistress company," Qi Mushan said, patting Li Lianhua on the shoulder.
Li Lianhua nodded, "Mm." He didn't want to go anywhere else; he just wanted to stay by his master and mistress's side. He looked at Qing'er beside him, stood up, and cupped his hands in thanks, "Thank you for saving my life, Miss." Although his master's wife could have saved him, he knew that if she had, it would have been a matter of life and death. Now that his master's wife was alright, it was only Miss Qing'er who could save him.
"You're welcome. Since I promised Senior Qi I would find you, I will definitely bring you back safe and sound," Qing'er waved her hand.
Li Lianhua's eyes widened in surprise. "So... you knew from the beginning that I was Li Xiangyi?"
A hint of a smile flashed in Qing'er's eyes, meaning she knew. Li Lianhua, of course, knew perfectly well that Qing'er was doing it on purpose. Her face remained expressionless, but inwardly she was thinking, "Isn't this just playing around?"
Qi Mushan hesitated for a moment, then said, "Shan Gudao has been crippled and expelled from the sect." His hesitation stemmed from the fact that Xiang Yi had a deep affection for Shan Gudao since childhood, and he feared that Shan Gudao might not be able to bear such a thing.
A trace of sadness flashed in Li Lianhua's eyes. "Master... why did Shan Gudao do this?" He couldn't understand how his senior brother, who had been so good to him when they were young, had become like this.
"Sigh, people's hearts change." Qi Mushan sighed.
Qing'er couldn't bear to see them so upset over an ingrate. It wasn't worth it. "People's hearts can change, that's true, but some people are inherently bad, they just disguise it too well." Then she jokingly added, "What's more, there's a peerless genius by his side who's better than him in everything. People who are naturally jealous will gradually become psychologically abnormal."
"Hehe~ Miss Qing'er is right," Qi Mushan said cheerfully.
Hearing Qing'er's words, Li Lianhua felt a little less saddened. Perhaps he really hadn't understood his senior brother well enough before.
Just then, the aroma of food wafted over, and Granny Cen came out carrying steaming dishes. "Come and eat, there are many of Xiangyi's favorite dishes." Everyone sat around the table, enjoying their meal in a warm and cozy atmosphere. As Li Lianhua tasted the familiar flavors, her eyes reddened again.
Granny Cen said to Qing'er, "Qing'er, Aunt Cen didn't know what you liked to eat, so I made a little of everything. See which one you like, and I'll make it for you next time."
Qing'er chuckled, "Anything is fine. I'm not picky about food, and besides, Aunt Cen's cooking is delicious."
"Alright, then eat more." After saying that, Granny Cen put a piece of braised pork on his plate. She also put a piece on Li Lianhua's plate.
Qi Mushan looked a little jealous and asked, "Why didn't you put any on my plate?"
Granny Cen glared at him. "Don't you have hands? If you want to eat, pick it up yourself." Qi Mushan looked aggrieved.
Li Lianhua picked up a piece of meat from her bowl, glanced at Qi Mushan with a smug look, raised an eyebrow, and then slowly took a bite, saying, "Delicious."
