Chapter 7 Anomalies

Chapter 7 Anomalies

Before long, the other princesses, except for Qing'er, arrived. The princesses, including "Mother," curtsied gracefully and dignifiedly.

"Hong'er, has Qing'er not come out of seclusion yet?" The Queen Mother asked Hong'er when she saw that Qing'er hadn't come. She had rarely seen Qing'er since she started cultivating; it had been over 100 years since she last saw her.

Hong'er respectfully replied, "Reporting to Mother, Fifth Sister is still in seclusion cultivating." The Queen Mother sighed softly and said, "This child, she loses track of time when she's cultivating."

At this moment, Huang'er said with a smile, "Mother, don't worry, maybe Fifth Sister will be out of seclusion soon."

Immediately afterward, the other princesses chimed in, "Yes, yes, Mother."

Seeing that the Queen Mother had forgotten her important business, the immortals were all exchanging knowing glances. Finally, Li Tianwang stepped forward and asked, "Um... princesses, have you noticed anything unusual in the Fairy Pavilion?"

The princesses exchanged glances, and Hong'er spoke first: "Reporting to King Li, we did not find anything unusual in the Fairy Pavilion. We just felt that the spiritual energy there seemed to be more concentrated than before."

This is because Qing'er needed to break through, and a lot of spiritual energy gathered in the Fairy Pavilion.

Greenie nodded and said, "Big sister is right. I had the same feeling. I thought it was just my imagination."

Zi'er blinked and added, "Moreover, the flowers and plants in the Fairy Pavilion seem to be more lush and vibrant than before, looking full of life."

After listening to the princesses' words, the Queen Mother pondered for a moment and said, "The spiritual energy is abundant, and the flowers and plants are lush... This doesn't seem like the work of any evil spirits."

Li Tianwang cupped his hands and said, "Your Majesty the Queen Mother is wise. However, just in case, I will still arrange for heavenly soldiers to strengthen patrols near the Fairy Pavilion."

The Queen Mother nodded slightly: "That's good. Thank you, Heavenly King Li." After saying that, she turned her gaze to the princesses, "You all keep a close eye on things in the Fairy Pavilion." The princesses all agreed.

Only Laozi seemed lost in thought. The Queen Mother of the West keenly noticed Laozi's unusual expression; a hint of curiosity and doubt flickered across her usually dignified face. So she softly asked, "Laozi, have you discovered something?"

These words were like a pebble thrown into a calm lake, creating ripples. All eyes turned to Laozi, eagerly awaiting his answer.

Laozi slowly raised his hand, stroking his long beard. After a moment of contemplation, he said, "In my opinion, this situation is quite similar to the phenomenon that occurs when someone breaks through to a higher level in cultivation." His voice was deep and mellow, as if it contained endless wisdom and experience.

"Laojun is truly insightful," a voice came from the doorway.

When Qing'er came out of seclusion, she saw the Fairy Pavilion empty. The sisters usually played here, but now there wasn't a single person in sight. After searching around, she still couldn't find them. She stood there with her hands on her hips and muttered to herself, "Where is everyone? Where did they all go?"

After a while, she seemed to remember something and was startled. "Oh no, could it be that I've been in seclusion for too long and the plot has already begun? Have they all descended to the mortal realm?" She paced back and forth anxiously. "No, I have to go see my mother."

That voice just now was Qing'er's. On the way here, I had already heard the other little fairies discussing the golden light. I didn't need to guess to know that it must have been the strange phenomenon of heaven and earth when she broke through.
