Chapter 8 is me
Qing'er had just arrived when she heard what Laozi said. He truly lived up to his name.
The others looked towards the door and saw Qing'er. They were all somewhat surprised, after all, Qing'er hadn't appeared for over 100 years.
"Fifth Sister!" Hong'er and the others were overjoyed to see Qing'er emerge from seclusion, and they all surrounded her.
"Fifth Sister, you've finally come out of seclusion!" Hong'er said excitedly.
"You little ingrate, you've been in seclusion for so long, you've forgotten all about us, haven't you?" Greenie looked Qing'er up and down, and seeing that she was alright, she pouted and said.
“That’s right, that’s right,” the other sisters chimed in.
"No, I missed you all so much." Qing'er looked at her sisters surrounding her, her heart filled with emotion. She smiled and hugged each of them, feeling their warmth and love.
The Queen Mother of the West looked at the warm atmosphere between the sisters below and a smile of satisfaction appeared on her face. She coughed twice and said, "Qing'er."
Upon hearing their mother's voice, the other sisters quickly dispersed, and Qing'er stepped forward to greet her, "Mother."
The others also bowed to Qing'er, saying, "Fifth Princess."
Qing'er smiled and waved her hand. The Queen Mother hadn't forgotten what Qing'er had said earlier, so she asked, "Qing'er, what did you mean by what you just said? Do you know who they are?"
"Of course I know!" Qing'er said with a smug smile.
"Fifth Princess, please stop keeping us in suspense!" Li Tianwang urged anxiously. "Everyone is waiting to hear what you have to say!" The others echoed his sentiments.
Seeing this, Qing'er pouted and said slowly, "Oh dear, why are you all in such a hurry?" However, her face radiated undisguised pride. After a brief pause, Qing'er finally revealed the answer: "Hehe, of course it's me, the princess!"
Before she finished speaking, the entire hall fell silent. Everyone exchanged bewildered glances. It wasn't that they didn't believe Qing'er's words, but the fact was simply too unbelievable. After all, in everyone's memory, the Fifth Princess was always known for her mischievousness and love of beauty, spending her days either playing pranks or dressing up in front of the mirror. Now, she was actually claiming to have broken through to the highest level of cultivation—it was truly unbelievable.
"Fifth Sister, is this true?" Cheng'er stepped forward quickly with an incredulous look on her face, grabbed Qing'er's hand tightly, and asked in a slightly trembling voice.
The other women also gathered around, their faces filled with excitement and disbelief.
Seeing this, Qing'er's lips curled up slightly, revealing a confident smile. She raised her chin, looked firmly at Cheng'er, and answered without hesitation, "Really, really!"
"Wow, Fifth Sister, you're amazing!" Lan'er exclaimed excitedly upon hearing Qing'er's affirmative answer.
"Yes, Fifth Sister, you're absolutely amazing!" the sisters echoed, their eyes shining with admiration.
The other deities, having regained their senses, also gathered around, praising Qing'er highly. Clearly, everyone believed her. After all, this wasn't something to be made up lightly.
Qing'er felt a little embarrassed by everyone praising her, but that didn't dampen her spirits, hehe!
The Queen Mother was also very pleased, after all, her daughter was so capable, but she maintained her composure, though the smile in her eyes betrayed her. She got up from her seat, took Qing'er's hand, and said, "Qing'er, can you tell your mother why you suddenly wanted to cultivate?" She had heard before that Qing'er was cultivating, and the other princesses had also started cultivating, so she thought it might just be a passing fancy. Later, she discovered that apart from Cheng'er, who consistently cultivated for one or two hours every day, the other princesses were inconsistent in their practice. But Qing'er was different; she was in seclusion, cultivating diligently.
