Chapter 213 The Annual Mission Ends

The essence of this curse is not to harm people, but to make them realize their shortcomings, change themselves, and thus make the demon disappear. Conversely, there is only one way to make the demon disappear: change yourself.

But now, the demon has simply vanished?

Li Changzhou looked at the Taoist priest: "The demon tastes good, much better than the Grim Reaper."

The evidence is that the black mist did not expel any demons.

The monk stared at him in horror; this was simply beyond reason!

Li Changzhou gave the order and waved his hand, causing flames to roar and form a large cage of fire in the night sky, enveloping the cultivators.

“The labyrinth is a symbol of this world,” an elderly monk emerged, reciting with rapture, “the entrance is wide, but the exit is very narrow… cough! cough cough!”

The old monk bent over in pain.

The flames descended, not burning them to death, but scorching the monks with an oxygen-deprived environment.

"Cough cough!"

"Cough cough cough!"

All the monks started coughing.

"Cough!" Bi Jiao's small body trembled slightly, and her face turned slightly red, but before she could cough, the king cobra bit her lotus-root-like arm.

"Poisoning? How could you be so despicable?" Bi looked up at Li Changzhou.

"That's right!" Li Qianxia remembered that the Witcher was too weak to dodge the penguin's freezing attack because he was poisoned.

“That’s the trick she came up with.” Li Changzhou pointed at Yang Qinglan, his movements swift and decisive.

"Is this the time to talk about these things?" Yang Qinglan asked.

"We can't find Edison, so what else is there to say?" Bi was very excited, thinking that having a lollipop in her mouth made her seem impressive.

The Point Guard is Here

Yang Qinglan laughed and said, "It was my idea. I also thought of something else: whenever a king cobra is treating someone, it will inject other toxins, as long as it's not just the three of us."

“…” Bi stopped sucking on her lollipop and, like a robot, turned her neck to look at Li Changzhou.

"It's fake," Li Changzhou denied.

He said to Yang Qinglan, "Let's not make jokes like that. Bi is so cute and has helped me so much."

"Since you put it that way... alright. Bi, can you destroy the church?" Yang Qinglan asked Bi in a kind and gentle tone.

"cannot!"

"Please help me," Li Changzhou said.

Bi sniffed, pursed her lips, and clasped her hands together in front of her chest.

It was as if a pair of giant hands had closed, and the church was flattened like an egg, producing a deafening roar!

Tiles, bricks, bells, and painted glass flew into the sky as if they had been exploded, like the splattered liquid of a broken egg.

Bi's hands, which had been clasped together in front of her chest, transformed into a triumphant cross-arms pose, as if she had accomplished her mission. A transparent psychic shield, shaped like an umbrella, blocked all the debris and aftershocks that were heading towards the four of them.

The church disappeared, and Yang Qinglan's fiery gaze fell upon a monk trapped in a cage of flames, her eyes turning blue.

The monks rose into the air and fell from the flames into the night sky.

"Buzz...buzz..." Among the various sounds, the sound of a phonograph could be clearly heard.

The monk disappeared from mid-air, and Li Changzhou looked towards the stable, where a thud could be heard.

"drive!"

Bang! The stable fence was breached, and Edison rode his horse at breakneck speed out of the church.

Li Changzhou's eyes turned red, his burning gaze piercing the air, as if it would instantly burn Edison and scorch him.

With a whoosh, the sound of wings flapping flashed by, and a swarm of bats swooped down.

With a hiss, the heat vision swept through the enemy like a whirlwind, instantly turning the swarm of bats into black and red charcoal.

The thermal vision is strong, but it also has limitations. When facing a large number of enemies, it's like using embroidery needles against a plastic bag—it can only burn a hole.

The remaining bats enveloped Edison and swirled into the night sky.

A chill ran down my spine, and I heard the fluttering wings of countless bats.

Are these the other vampires the housekeeper was talking about?

Where's the mole we were promised? Why aren't they helping out?

Li Changzhou kicked a burning pine tree beside him, and the tree fell down with a thud.

He gripped the tree trunk with both hands and swept it horizontally, the burning tree trunk carrying thousands of pounds of force, towards the swarm of bats.

"I'll play Fruit Ninja for a bit, you guys go find Edison," he said as he played.

"Understood!" Li Qianxia disappeared from the spot.

With a flick of her finger, Yang Qinglan released a cold arrow that shot towards the swarm of bats that had taken Edison away with lightning speed.

Some of the bats immediately separated to block the cold air, turning into ice and falling to the ground.

After teleporting twice, Li Qianxia teleported a third time, arriving in mid-air.

As the heavenly fire descended, flames were squeezed out of the muscles and fascia, and the body of fire was unleashed, crashing into the swarm of bats like a meteorite.

Peng!

Instantly, all the bats were ignited, exploding one by one.

Some bats that hadn't yet exploded merged into a vampire.

"Ah—" The vampire rolled to the ground, letting out a heart-wrenching scream.

Edison landed on the ground, panting heavily from fear, his sparse white hair soaked with sweat, looking utterly disheveled.

"Woof!" A wolf howled, and a figure lurking outside the church limped towards Edison, its sharp fangs snapping at his neck.

"Stay put." With a wave of her hand, the figure was pushed aside and suspended in mid-air as if frozen in place.

Li Changzhou dropped the pine tree covered in bat blood, clapped his hands, and turned around. The ground was covered with a dense layer of bat corpses.

He bent his knees slightly, straightened them, and shot out like a cannonball, instantly appearing within five meters of Edison. The Black Death raised his enormous white bone scythe.

“Spencer Morgan! Why are you trying to kill me?” Edison roared, taking two steps back in terror.
