Chapter 26 Is this a vegetable garden?
Madam Qian's heart melted completely. Looking at her little girl's stubborn appearance, she almost turned into water!
This little dumpling is so adorable!
"Mother isn't hungry, you..." Madam Qian wanted to say more, but the little dumpling pursed her lips, her expression unusually firm.
Seeing that Madam Qian had no other choice, she could only say, "Alright, alright, as you wish!"
The little baby then smiled, revealing adorable dimples.
She watched as Madam Qian picked up a piece of food with her chopsticks, then immediately shook her head, insisting that Madam Qian pick up some more. Madam Qian picked up a second piece, then immediately said, "Mother really can't eat anymore. If you give Mother any more, Mother will burst!"
Ms. Qian deliberately touched her belly and said.
The little dumpling breathed a sigh of relief and then happily began to eat.
Seeing this, Doctor Song was incredibly envious. If he had a daughter like that, he would give his life for her!
But she only gave birth to one brat, who could drive her crazy every day!
"Your little girl is so considerate!" Doctor Song couldn't help but say.
Looking at the baby, Qian's eyes held a hint of tenderness. She ate the noodles the baby had given her, finding them more delicious than anything else.
Luckily I came back early yesterday, and luckily I brought the little guy home with me!
Otherwise, Ms. Qian couldn't imagine what their lives would be like!
"She is our family's lucky charm, my most precious treasure!" Madam Qian's voice was so gentle it could melt hearts, making Tang Yu's lips curl into a smile.
Sure enough, the woman he liked was so gentle...
Madam Qian was unaware of Tang Yu's thoughts, and even if she had, she wouldn't have cared!
She wants to be the only one who shines!
Doctor Song had a smile in his eyes; he didn't even know how long it had been since he'd had a proper meal.
I've really had a lucky day today!
After finishing their meal, the Qian family took their leave.
Doctor Song watched them leave, a hint of reluctance in his eyes. How wonderful it would be if they were his family!
He thought about these things and shook his head.
Back in the kitchen, I intended to get some water to wash my face, but instead, I saw bottles and jars on the cutting board.
On top were some cured meat, some dried vegetables, and some pickled vegetables.
They also put in quite a lot of glutinous rice cakes and flatbreads.
These things were more than enough compared to the noodles they had eaten that day, which left Doctor Song with a strange feeling.
There are plenty of people who have taken advantage of others these days, but there are very few who don't!
He sighed and finally put the things away.
Su Daguang and the others parted ways not far from the courtyard.
Back in the courtyard, there were only three rooms: two for living, one for the kitchen, and the outhouse in the back, where there was also a small vegetable garden.
However, the Tang family is destined for drought, and the vegetables they grow are all small and unattractive.
So there were more weeds than vegetables in the vegetable garden behind.
In front of it was a large yard, where two chickens, a duck, and a large white goose were kept.
The two large hens were given to them by the Qian family to raise, supposedly so that the two of them could have eggs...
However, a year has passed, and the two of them can no longer even afford to eat eggs.
They're almost being eaten out of house and home by these four guys in the yard.
"Quack quack!" The big white goose had wandered into their house by accident and then stuck with them. When it saw the Qian family come in, it rushed over in a hurry.
They had just flapped their wings and rushed over, intending to teach these uninvited guests who had run into their home a lesson.
Just as it was rushing towards them, it suddenly stopped.
"Quack quack?" The big white goose looked at Little Crispy Treasure, its dark eyes darting around a couple of times.
It actually stuck its head out and came over!
Mrs. Qian was startled and quickly hugged the little baby to her arms: "Go away, don't bite!"
She didn't know that in the countryside, these large white geese were the fiercest; they could even peck at a tiger if it came.
"Butler Bai, you're not allowed to bite people!" Tang Yu shouted quickly, and because he was so anxious, he started coughing again.
Seeing his appearance, Madam Qian couldn't help but say, "Brother, stop shouting and go back to your room to sleep for a while!"
Tang Yu opened her mouth, as if to say something, but in the end, she didn't say anything.
Forget it, there's no point in saying anything.
He was helped into the house by Tang Qi and Tang Shan, and lay down on the kang (a heated brick bed), his eyes somewhat unfocused.
The kang (heated brick bed) was a bit cold, and the quilt was a little damp, but Tang Yu was still quite happy.
It's been almost half a year since I last saw her. Seeing her is the happiest thing for Tang Yu.
Little Su Bao had no idea what Tang Yu, who was coaxing her to call him "Dad," was thinking. At this moment, she blinked her eyes, looking at the goose with curiosity and a hint of joy in them.
She was afraid of the people, but not the animals.
After all, animals won't bite you if you tame them, but it's different with people!
"Little Su Bao and your nephews are playing in the yard. Let me help your uncle and your fourth brother tidy up the yard first!" Madam Qian frowned as she looked at the messy yard.
She found a broom that was almost bare with hardly any leaves left. She frowned, but in the end, she used it to clean up the poop in the yard.
"Da Bao, Er Bao, San Bao, take good care of your little aunt!" Madam Qian called out to her three grandsons.
"Okay, Grandma!" Tang Dabao quickly shouted, reaching out to grab Xiao Su Bao!
Xiao Su Bao instinctively tried to pull her hand back, but seeing Tang Da Bao's expression, she couldn't bear to.
"Auntie, what do you want to play?" Tang Erbao came over and asked Xiao Subao curiously.
Little Su Bao shook her head, looking a little flustered. She didn't know what to play!
Nobody used to play with me...
"Then let's go to the backyard and catch some bugs for the chickens and ducks to eat..." Tang Sanbao immediately suggested.
Little Su Bao was curious and didn't know what kind of bugs to catch, but since her nephew said he was going, she, as an elder, should accompany him!
It was the first time the three little boys had an aunt who was like a little sister to them. They thought catching bugs was a lot of fun, and they thought their aunt would find it fun too!
With this thought in mind, the three little boys immediately perked up even more.
Little Su Bao was led to the backyard by them. What was in the large vegetable garden?
Little Su Bao looked at it carefully...
I don't recognize you!
"Little sister... Auntie, take a stick and hit the haystack. If there are any snakes, they'll come out and won't bite you!" The three brothers had indeed been bitten by snakes.
Although it wasn't a venomous snake, it still terrified them.
So later on, whenever they went to work, each of them would definitely have a stick in their hands.
Little Su Bao held the bamboo stick, looking nervously at the bushes...
Is this a vegetable garden?
