Chapter 47: Blood of Our Fathers

Amid the orcs' respectful gazes and growls, Angele supported his seriously injured comrade and walked north along the beach. At this moment, his comrade was seriously injured and bleeding a lot. Angele used bandages to bandage him and himself to stop the bleeding, but it was still unknown whether the comrade could survive.

Angele's comrades died the next day, and he himself continued northward for over a month, having lost his location. He first struggled through the scorched earth, surviving on small amounts of wolf and spider meat. Finally, after two weeks, he entered a land that, though barren, was vibrant with life.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Angele gasped heavily and hid in a cave, looking at the black dragon in the distance with fear. After waiting for a long time and seeing that the black dragon had no intention of leaving, he could only go deeper into the cave.

The cave was very deep and rugged, and there were signs of artificial closures in many places. In the deepest part, Angele discovered a stone hall and the stone men living inside. The stone men were not friendly to his appearance, and they used all kinds of weapons to try to attack him. Angele killed a few of them, but there were too many of them, and he was soon forced to flee. While escaping, he hurriedly hid in a sarcophagus in a secret room.

This was a huge sarcophagus, and the interior was filled with all kinds of mysterious patterns. After Angele hid in the sarcophagus, he found that there was a woman beside him. A beautiful blonde human woman was lying in the center of the sarcophagus, looking around in confusion.

The woman's sexy and graceful body was completely naked, which aroused Angele, who hadn't seen a woman for several months. He reached out and patted the woman's shoulder, whispering, "Who are you? Where is this place?"

The woman did not answer, but looked at him curiously, then she grabbed Angele's hand and slowly pressed his hand to her heart. Angele looked in the direction of her hand, and the beautiful scenery there made Angele completely lose control.

"Damn it, who cares who she is? I've never slept with such a beautiful woman in my life. I'm going to have sex with her first."

He pressed the woman down hard. The woman did not resist him and continued to caress him curiously. Soon, he completely possessed her.

After making love, the woman curled up in Angele's arms like a little animal. Although the man's actions just now were very rough, he was the only warm person in this cold stone wall. She looked at the man in confusion.

Angelet lowered his head to meet the woman's gaze. Her blue eyes were pure and clear, and he had just discovered that this was her first time. This made him feel guilty and he whispered an apology, "I'm sorry, I was a little rude. Who are you?"

The woman still did not answer, but buried her head in his arms. It was warm there, and the man's strong heartbeat gave her a sense of security.

"Forget it, no matter who you are, we have to find a way to get out. We can't stay here for long."

Angele gave his coat and boots to the woman and pulled her out of the sarcophagus. The woman looked at everything outside the sarcophagus in confusion, leaned close to Angele uneasily, and pinched the corner of his shirt.

Angele felt a deep warmth in his heart. He reached out and patted the woman's back, comforting her: "Don't worry, just stand behind me. I will protect you."

In the process of rushing out, Angele suffered a lot of injuries in order to protect the woman beside him. His feet were scratched by the stones on the ground and were bleeding, but he didn't care about his injuries at all. He dragged the woman and ran out. After escaping completely, the woman finally noticed his embarrassment and stared at the place where he was bleeding in panic.

"It's okay. Compared to the injuries I've had before, this is just a piece of skin broken off." Angele comforted her nonchalantly, but then his attention was attracted by the woman's strange behavior. The woman touched his wound with her hand, and as the golden holy light emanated from her hand, his injury quickly recovered.

"Are you a clergyman?"

"Why are you here?"

"What are those things underground?"

The woman didn't answer any questions. After treating his injuries, she leaned close to him, looked up at his mouth in confusion, and tried to reach out to touch his throat.

Angelet stopped asking questions. The woman's face was much clearer in the sunlight than underground. She was so beautiful and her eyes were so innocent.

No matter who she was before or what her identity was before, she is my woman now.

Angelet thought nonchalantly, then he lowered his head and kissed the woman.
