As the two were talking, Song Qinze suddenly came back.
Quan Ye deliberately met his gaze, put his arm around Su Li's shoulder and pulled her into his embrace, as if to assert his ownership.
Song Qinze glanced at it, then picked up his phone from the table. "I left something behind. Did I disturb you?"
"No..." Su Li was about to speak.
"I apologize for disturbing you. I hope Mr. Song will be more sensible in the future." Quan Ye grasped Su Li's hand and replied domineeringly.
Song Qinze glanced at him indifferently, a smile appearing on his face, "Okay, I'll pay attention next time."
His smile vanished completely as he turned and walked away.
"Alright, stop arguing here. I'm going to make preparations to go to Chen's Enterprise."
“I’ll go with you,” he said.
"Aren't you busy today?"
No matter how busy I am, nothing is more important than spending time with you.
Su Li said helplessly, "No need. It's better for me to investigate this myself. You should go back to the company first, and I'll let you know if there's any news."
He gently stroked her hair. "That's fine too, I'll take you there."
"casual."
Su Li changed her clothes and put on makeup. When she went out, she saw that his car was already waiting outside.
Unlike usual, a young and beautiful girl was standing next to him.
The girl bent down to hand him the document to sign; her figure was pretty and youthful, with long, flowing hair.
Lan Qi'er turned around, nodded and smiled at her, "Good morning, Sister Li."
Su Li was surprised to see her. "Hello."
"That's fine." Quan Ye signed the document and handed it back to her.
"Okay." Lan Qi'er took the documents, turned around, and got into the car behind.
Quan Ye reached out to Su Li, gesturing for him to come over.
"Why is Lan Qi'er here too?"
"The secretariat was very busy today. I needed to sign a document on short notice, so I asked Lan Qier to bring it over. She was quick and didn't waste any time."
"I can tell you admire her quite a bit."
"I admire you the most, don't you know that?" Quan Ye put his arm around her waist and gently stroked it with his large hand.
"Once the truth is found and my innocence is cleared, and Old Tang has no complaints about me, you can come back to my side. No one in the group can do things as efficiently as you."
"We'll talk about that later."
Upon arriving at Chen's Enterprise, Su Li and Quan Ye parted ways.
Now, all of Chen's employees are no longer the same as those from Su's; she sees entirely new faces.
"Hello, is there anything I can help you with?"
The young and pretty receptionist greeted me politely and looked me up and down.
Su Li said, "I'm looking for your General Manager Chen."
Do you have an appointment?
"No."
"I'm sorry, you can't see me." The receptionist refused outright, looking down at the registration book in her hand, clearly ignoring her.
Just as Su Li was thinking of other ideas, she saw the receptionist suddenly become respectful and call out to the door, "Good morning, Mr. Chen."
She turned around and saw Mr. Chen, with a beer belly, coming in accompanied by his assistant.
They headed straight for the elevator.
Su Li's beautiful eyes flickered slightly, and she took a step to catch up.
"Mr. Chen, please wait a moment!"
The group of people who were about to enter the elevator stopped and turned to look at her.
Mr. Chen glanced at her a few times, feeling that she looked somewhat familiar, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
"Who are you?" his assistant asked.
"I am Su Li, Mr. Chen should still remember me, right?"
Upon hearing this, President Chen chuckled and said, "Oh, it's Su Li. What brings you here?"
"Mr. Chen, I'd like to speak with you privately."
Mr. Chen: "Sure, let's talk in my office."
