"All of them are." Jude shrugged. He got another glass of champagne. This time, he didn’t drink it. Instead, he slowly shook the glass and watched its contents move. "The Lycans are investigating Samuel. It wouldn’t take too long for them to know where he is."
"That is none of my concern. If they do something to him, it means they are declaring war against us." Amore uttered. "We are not as strong as Lycans but our numbers overwhelmed them." freewёbnoνel-com
Jude shrugged in response.
"I am done talking to you. I have to go to Columbia for a meeting. Please leave now."
"What about the thing that I told you about?"
"What? That dreamwalker?" Jude scoffed. "Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? Dreamwalkers don’t exist anymore. They were considered extinct a long time ago."
"So you didn’t find one?"
"No. Even if Trillium has one of those, they would surely hide them and perform all sorts of experiments on them to know if they could somehow share the power. You know how they are... they can walk through planes and other dimensions. That alone is considered... " Jude pursed his lips. "So no. I don’t know anything about that."
Amore frowned.
"Why are you asking anyway?" Jude asked.
"Nothing. I was just curious."
"By the way... how is Romeo?"
"He— He is fine. Of course. He is doing some research on some... ancient texts."
"So that explains the absence of dead witches."
"My son... is sick. And Trillium knows that."
"Trillium does not protect a murderer Amore. You are lucky you are performing tests for them or... Trillium would have executed that son of yours a long time ago."
"Romeo isn’t well Jude and I don’t appreciate you spewing insults about him."
"So... he is going to plead insanity." Jude snorted and drank his champagne. "You should leave. Call me if you need something. We are at the final stages. I don’t want you to make mistakes just because of your son."
Amore only glared at him before storming out of the plane.
"We are leaving!" Jude uttered then he looked outside and let out a sigh. Politics wasn’t an easy thing. Sometimes, one would forget the morals that they learned since they were a child just to fix some political issues.
"Bianca... connect me to the assistant head, I am going to talk about the transfer of prisoners."
"Understood," his secretary answered.
And just like that, Jude left Alaska.

Senior Rudolfo de Cene gripped the golden handle of his cane. He was looking at the endless forest in front of him, his eyes devoid of any expression. Yet the slight wrinkle in his usually placid expression was enough for anyone around him to shut their mouths.
On the table behind him, were seven other people.
All of them have serious expressions on their faces. Some even looked like they had swallowed a lemon.
"Senior... if this goes on..."
"What makes you think this will go on?" The man who sat next to the only vacant seat on the table interrupted. He looked at the man who spoke then towards the back of his father. "Father, I suggest that we stop making unreasonable conclusions and immediately arrange people to find the culprit."
"Four burned winery," Rudolfo finally spoke. "Four vineyards and Billions worth of damages." Slowly, Rudolfo looked at the people on the table. Then his eyes landed on his son, Leo de Cene. "Did you really think that we would be able to catch the person responsible for burning our properties?"
"But father, whoever did it must have known all of our — "
"They knew. Isn’t that obvious Leo?" Rudolfo calmly looked at his son. There wasn’t a hint of a smile on his face. In fact, one could see disappointment in it. "There is a reason why you are not the heir, Leo. So stop embarrassing yourself in front of everyone."
Leo de Cene’s face reddened. Then he lowered his head and clenched his fist.
"The person who did this was obviously familiar with our vineyards. And they were not just playing around. Four burned businesses means whoever did it was really angry and seeking vengeance."
Rudolfo squinted. "The people who did this were very familiar with us. They were fearless and even had a coordinated attack just thirty minutes after the other. If you think about it, the only one who could do this or could afford to do this was... the royal family."
"You mean— "
"How could that be? Burning our businesses also means burning the money that we are paying them! Our taxes are worth hundreds of millions. There is no way that the Royal Family would do that." Someone added.
"So who do you think can do that aside from them?"
"Well... it might be another noble family. They must have heard about the explosion and immediately figured out that we were the ones responsible for the bomb that could easily kill witches. That must have scared them. So they wanted to teach us a lesson." Leo de Cene chimed in.
"If you have nothing good to say then you better get out!" Rudolfo said. "I don’t want your half baked ideas in front of me."
"But— "
"The noble family would never dare cross us. That would be absurd." Rudolfo said. "If we fight against other noble families, the only one who would benefit is the current King. Don’t you think so? Leo?"
"That— It seems that you are right."
"Good. Instead of thinking about this matter. I suggest that you think about your son! Almeru! Why is he still feeling the pain until now? What did the witches say? The doctors? We have the money and means to contact all the specialists in the world that could help him! Why is he still spending his time on the bed instead of training to become my successor?"
"Father I— "
"And why is Aira still here and not in Prince Drigo’s chambers!? That woman had the gall to sleep with him! Let her deal with the consequences of her actions!
