Chapter 416: Killing a God 8

Ava couldn’t help but cursed inwardly.

The woman who was supposed to kidnap her had already left but for some fucked up reason, she couldn’t follow her out!

She had tried everything that she could to leave this place but she literally couldn’t. She couldn’t find any magick circle or anything like that as well. Frustrated, she started checking all the other rooms on that floor and quickly realized that there were other witches like that woman inside each room. While some of them were chained against the walls, some were walking freely inside their room.

Of course, they have one similarity, and that is the savagery in their eyes. They were just like the eyes of the woman who was sent to kidnap her.

Ava started to wonder about these witches but she had no time to investigate. She needed to leave the astral world soon.

"Hm?" Ava felt a sudden tug on her chest. It wasn’t because of Matthew. This one didn’t make her emotional or anything like that. Instead, it felt like a little pinch.

She looked around, unsure of why she felt something like that.

Shrugging, she continued checking each room until she saw another door of an elevator. She didn’t spot this one earlier as she was too preoccupied with the trap that she heard from the Queen’s lips. However, this time, she decided to check it.

And she was right. It was indeed another elevator.

She teleported herself to the next floor and to her surprise, this was very similar to the one with the witches. The only difference was that it was once again made of glass.

So... what was so similar about it to the rooms that captured those young witches?

It was the fact that this one .... Confined some creatures that she had never seen before.

The first creature to her right looked like a lizard that was as big as an adult man. Across it was a snake with the head of a crocodile. She could see small feet or legs on the snake’s stomach. However, it was too small she was almost certain that they aren’t using it to walk.

Next is another creature this time... she was sure if she was looking at a large cockroach or just a random giant bug.

The cockroach only had legs but it looked exactly like a cockroach with green eyes and a large mouth that had been overflowing with green saliva.

Just like the witches, tubes were tied on their heads.

What the hell is this place? She thought inwardly. And who made this?

She had so many questions.

However, what made her more curious was actually the fact that something else... seemed to pull her towards something.

It felt like the relic that she found outside of this plane!

She narrowed and decided to stop looking at the gross-looking creatures and just walked toward whatever it was that was pulling him.

She had suspicions that it was another relic. And she could only hope that it was.

After a few minutes of walking, Ava stopped when she spotted something familiar not far away from him.

It was... Ulva.

The woman was lying naked on what looked like a silver table, tubes tied around her body. It started with her head, then her neck and arms as well as her thighs.

The worse is... she looked awake!

Ava shivered inwardly.

"I’m surprised..."

Ava looked towards her left and spotted the man wearing the robe earlier. After seeing the woman who was sent to kidnap her, she decided to stop following this man and followed the woman instead.

She didn’t know that he was actually here!

"For you to be able to maintain your sanity after taking all of your magick..." the man said. He was not that far away from Ulva. He was still wearing his robe and Ava couldn’t see his face but she could clearly hear the smugness in his voice.

"I didn’t know that someone like you would have an endless amount of magick...’ the man chuckled. "It would be a shame to just kill you... should I just tell them not to kill you? You should be grateful though... I have taken an interest in you. I will personally cut your body up and study your blood." The man let out a chuckle.

"You will regret this..." Ulva managed to say.

"I have regretted a lot of things in my life but I am almost certain my decision to come here is not one of those. I mean.... Humans by nature are so greedy it’s entertaining!"

"You— "

"You should stop talking and save your energy. No one is coming to save you so... we will have a long time together. Don’t worry... I am not going to let you die."

The man started walking towards Ulva. It was then that Ava noticed the liquid in the man’s hand. It looked blue at first then for some reason, it turned green and into purple then turned into blue. It looked like the liquid was changing colors!

"I didn’t think this is going to be effective to witches who... I mean to people like you. People like us."

"You have no idea what you are talking about!" Ulva said as she gritted her teeth. freёwebnovel-com

"Look at you and your temper. You must be thinking that someone... one of your minions will still save you... right?" this time, the man cackled. "Oh.... You are so wrong! I can’t help but want to be there when you realized that you are alone. Your people left you and the King that you have been training is just as incompetent as you!"

"You are entertaining..." Ulva said. "It’s funny how it was actually you who didn’t understand humans... and people who lived in that realm."

The man lifted an eyebrow. Then he gave a playful shrug.

Seeing this, Ulva continued. "I would love to be there once you realize that you are so wrong about everything. I would love to be there when he returns to punish you for pretending to be him!"
