Chapter 447: The King and Queen of Lycans 7

While the supernatural world was talking about the news that the Lycan’s declaration, Ava and Matthew were doing another serious matter.

"I can’t come with you," Ava said. "I am not a Lycan. This plane shall belong to the Lycans." They were discussing the ownership of the plane. It was something that they have been discussing in the past few days.

Matthew kissed her forehead in response. Then he pulled her towards the couch, letting her sit on his lap.

Matthew was the King and Ava was the Queen, but the one who was doing all the work was actually Drigo. Matthew had been using the excuse of having his honeymoon to escape all the responsibilities and gave it to his older brother.

Obviously, this didn’t sit well with Ava. However, Matthew told her that he only wanted to own this plane and not manage a kingdom. Apparently, he had tried it once and ended up killing a lot of people. This time, he didn’t want to actually kill people again.

That reason.... Is a bit odd.

But Ava had seen him inside the Pits and had witnessed his cruelty.

Because of that, a part of her actually believed him.

Now, they spent most of their time fucking around or arguing about the owner of this plane. This is just one of those days.

"I don’t understand why I have to go with you," Ava said. A part of her didn’t want to go to the core simply because she hates tests. She’s not that smart, to begin with. Second, she didn’t want to see illusions and be reminded of the things that traumatized her!

She already knew that something like this would happen, so why would she even risk it?

She knew that she would see things that might hurt her so why would she even try?

She’s not that interested in this Kingdom, anyway!

"Now that is mean. You are my Queen," he said, his hand started massaging her breasts. She drew her legs closer. She still felt sore, but her body was already reacting to his touch. He kissed her neck and she let out a moan. How annoying, she thought.

"But I don’t want to be put to tests that might kill me." By now, she had accepted the fact that she might be different. That she wasn’t supposed to exist. Her father’s reaction was enough to close that Chapter in her life.

In fact, Ava wasn’t someone who liked to think about the hurtful past. She had a lot of traumas growing up and she had learned to accept that there are just some things that she cannot change. And she didn’t need to worry about those things!

She didn’t want to spend her time thinking about the what if’s and the explanation of the things that she couldn’t even control!

So while she was curious, she didn’t want to spend her time being stuck in the same place, unable to move on with her life.

She had Matthew now. And she was content with that.

She narrowed her eyes at him.

"I don’t understand why you wanted me to come with you. Are you hiding something from me?" she asked. "Do you know something that I don’t?"

"Of course not," Matthew said. "I just thought that you and I should own this place. It was only right." freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

Ava gave a half-shrug. "I am not interested." Then she started stroking his erection. Before she knew it, they were already naked.

And their conversation ended with another hot encounter.

But this didn’t mean that Matthew is about to give up. After so much convincing, Matthew succeeded in making Ava agree to come with him.

"The location is in the middle of the forest that was made by witch’s magick or witch’s blood," Matthew said.

"I am surprised that you could feel it even if you aren’t a dream walker," Ava said. She could feel the core of this plane, but since she had no interest in becoming its owner, there was no point in even trying to go there.

She knew from the Shaman’s memory that the test would be very hard. Especially for a plane like this.

According to Matthew, no one knew who created this plane. The history of the Lycans stated that one of their ancestors found it. But they never mentioned anyone about the name or the ancestor or any records of the previous occupants or the one who made it.

The two of them started walking toward the center of the forest. It was located not that far away from the lake that they visited in the past.

"This place is scary," Ava said. Their footsteps echoed as they continued to walk deeper into the forest. The absence of any animals around was especially haunting. That’s right, the deeper you went into the forest, the quieter it was. She concluded that this was because the witches that were used as a sacrifice had a very strong resentment toward whoever it is that did it to them.

"You can feel it too?" Matthew asked. "You are stronger than I originally thought."

"The resentment is pretty strong," she said. On her first visit, she wasn’t able to feel it because she was too occupied with Matthew. However, it is different now.

Currently, her heart had been thumping so loudly as she walked deeper and deeper. Goosebumps skittered through her skin. She knew then that this place was different. She knew now that it was dangerous.

Her senses had grown alert as she started to hear wails and screams of women. She knew those were the resentment of the spirit.

Damnit! She cursed inwardly. She already knew this would happen, but she still agreed to Matthew’s request!

In her defense, he was in between her legs and threatened to stop if she said no!

How could she say no?

She shivered and then halted her steps when she felt Matthew’s hands on hers.

"Calm down," Matthew smiled. "They cannot touch the living," he said.

....

Author’s notes: I design Ava to be a simple character. She’s not that smart and would always prefer fighting than thinking. XD Don’t forget to add new novel: ROSIE’s GAMES! Thanks
