She pushed the phone in front of Director Chen.
Director Chen picked up her phone and saw the secretly filmed video. In the blurry pixels, he could vaguely make out the two people passionately kissing in the carriage: Yan Jie and Jiang Hexi.
"How do you plan to handle this?"
"Either Yan Jie leaves, or Jiang Hexi leaves the farming variety show."
Liu Yuxi leaned back in her chair, looked up at him coldly, and said, "I prefer the latter."
Director Chen returned her phone, saying, "What if both of you stayed?"
"Director Chen, you are not representing yourself, but the entire production team."
Liu Yuxi schemed against him, saying, "You can be untrustworthy, but the production team cannot be untrustworthy. When this secretly filmed video spreads all over the internet, let's see if you can still protect these two people."
Director Chen initially allowed Liu Yuxi to participate in the recording of a farming variety show in order to avoid being devoured by capital and to gain more traffic. Now, he has suffered a backlash from the traffic, and he can't even protect the five-person group of tycoons.
"You can go now."
Liu Yuxi got up from the chair without pressing the matter any further.
Director Chen glared at her and said, "You can pack your bags and leave the production team."
"Director Chen, I won't leave until I see the final outcome. One last reminder: don't forget to protect the whistleblower's privacy. You can't break the rules you set for yourself."
After Liu Yuxi retorted, she left without looking back.
