Chapter 216 Tyranny

"Everything is over now, can I leave in peace?" the guide asked.

"No rush," the Ghost King said calmly, his eyes fixed ahead.

The guide was about to speak again when his expression suddenly changed, his entire face turning bright red in an instant. He stood there with his mouth half-open, unable to utter a single word. Wang Yao guessed that the Three-Headed Ghost King must have used some trick to make the guide swallow back all the words he was about to say.

The four waited for a while before the group leader, Gao, appeared on the city wall with his follower, Shan Shan.

"What... Why is it you again? Didn't I tell you? Coming here is useless! You've already had your fortune told, what are you doing here? This is a fortune telling creation group, not a fortune telling modification group. If all the beings in the six realms came here to make a fuss like you, we wouldn't need..."

Upon seeing Wang Yao downstairs, Gao Qunzhu immediately became displeased and launched into a tirade of criticism. Unexpectedly, the three Ghost Kings didn't waste any words; with a swift movement, they slapped the Guide to the side into oblivion.

"You, you..." Gao Qunzhu's face changed drastically. He pointed at the three-headed ghost king and stammered as he watched this scene.

"Do as the immortal says, or else... kill!" the Ghost King said coldly.

"Hey! Do you know what you're doing? Xiao Du just liked to ramble on a bit, and... and you killed him! Do you... do you have any respect for the law?" Gao Qunzhu finally came to his senses and shouted from the city wall, his face flushed.

"King Qin Guang has given an order!" The Ghost King flicked his finger, and Wang Yao saw a black object being lightly sent to the city wall by the Ghost King. Gao Qunzhu caught it, stared at it, and his expression changed from light to dark.

"So what if you have the King of Hell's token? I have no idea how you got it. If you're so capable, then kill all the ghosts in my creative group. Otherwise, go back to where you came from, and I'll even go to the King of Hell to accuse you of killing innocent ghosts!" Group Leader Gao shouted from the city tower.

The three-headed ghost king swayed, and Wang Yao only saw a black shadow flash before his eyes. Immediately afterward, the ghost king appeared beside Gao Qunzhu on the city wall. Without changing his expression, he waved his hand, and the follower accompanying Gao Qunzhu was instantly turned into a cloud of ashes by the ghost king, leaving not even a trace of his ghost weapon.

"You!" Gao Qunzhu's eyes widened in fury at the sight. "You killed me, you dare to kill me!" He then charged toward the Three-Headed Ghost King with his neck stiff.

Unexpectedly, the Ghost King didn't even glance at Gao Qunzhu's desperate actions, but simply stood on the city wall and looked elsewhere.

When Gao Qunzhu rushed to within five steps of the Three-Headed Ghost King, he could no longer advance. It was as if he was blocked by an invisible barrier. No matter how hard he struggled, he could not take another step forward.

The Ghost King ignored the group leader's desperate howls and looked around. He fixed his gaze on a certain spot below the city wall, then raised his hand, flicked his finger, and then turned his head to look elsewhere.

"Kill me! Kill me now!..."

Watching the Ghost King's actions and glancing in the direction of the Ghost King's flick of his finger, Gao Qunzhu's voice suddenly became shrill. At the same time, he rushed towards the Ghost King with even more force, but still could not get close to him. Instead, his hair fell down, and he just screamed and flailing his arms, looking like a madman.

"Don't rush, I'll kill you after I'm done killing you." The Three-Headed Ghost King once again fixed his gaze on a spot, flicked his finger, stared at it for a few more seconds, as if to confirm the effect of his flick, and then turned to the disheveled group leader and said coldly.

After the Three-Headed Ghost King flicked his fingers six or seven times, Gao Qunzhu stopped shouting. He stared at the Three-Headed Ghost King with his mouth open and his eyes wide open, as if he were looking at some incredible monster.

The Ghost King's gaze shifted to Wang Yao. Wang Yao turned his head and saw that on the other side of the road behind him was a small town with black tiles and white walls. A ghost was standing on the bluestone road extending from the town, looking in their direction.

With a flick of his finger, the Ghost King watched as the ghost suddenly turned into a cloud of black ash and fell to the ground. Only then did he realize that the Three-Headed Ghost King was killing ghosts on the city wall.

In the blink of an eye, the three Ghost Kings killed a dozen or so Ghost Masters in different scenes, some of whom were deep in thought and deducing fate, while others were disturbed by the commotion. As the Ghost Kings flicked their fingers out one by one, Gao Qunzhu's body slowly went limp.

"You...you stop! What...what do you want?" Gao Qunzhu asked in a hoarse, trembling voice.

"Follow the instructions of the immortal." The Three-Headed Ghost King still didn't look at the group leader, but just kept flicking his fingers in the creative group.

"I'll listen! I'll listen, okay? Stop killing! Please stop killing!" Chief Gao waved his hand helplessly, tears streaming down his face.

The three-headed ghost kings finally stopped and turned to look at Wang Yao. Wang Yao was shocked by what he saw. He finally understood what tyranny meant. Wang Yao wondered if the follower of the group leader that the three-headed ghost kings had killed was Xiao Jiang, who had taken him to the fortune-telling archives.

That ghost master was a kind-hearted person, and it would be a real pity if he were killed by the Three-Headed Ghost King.

However, he couldn't deny that the Three-Headed Ghost King's method was indeed an effective one; otherwise, he didn't know how long he would have been arguing with this group leader.

"I need to go to the fortune-telling archives to review and modify the fortune-telling records," Wang Yao hurriedly called out from below the city gate.

"Go if you want to go! When did I ever stop you? You're such an unreasonable immortal!" Gao Qunzhu complained, sobbing. He struggled to his feet, patted the city wall, and the steps leading up to the city wall reappeared.
