Chapter 402 Demon Realm Constable

He pulled out a pen from somewhere, scribbled a couple of times on a scrap of paper, and then casually tossed it to Wang Yao.

Wang Yao looked at the form, which read "Registration Form for Non-Godly Beings from Another World" at the top, and below it were information such as the birth interface, species, occupation, reason for coming to the Demon Realm, and residence in the Demon Realm.

Picking up a pen, Wang Yao hastily wrote in the blank space of the form: "I have important military information and need to meet the Demon Lord," and then handed the form back to the constable.

No one but the Demon Lord is qualified to make the decision to open up a second battlefield, so Wang Yao went all out and directly asked to meet the Demon Lord of this Demon Realm.

"Whoa, what's going on today? One wants me to see the city lord, and the other actually wants me to take him to see the Demon Lord? I'm starting to wonder what kind of rank I am as a constable?" Upon seeing what Wang Yao had written, the constable was not surprised but laughed, looking at Wang Yao with a mocking expression.

Seeing that the constable was unmoved, Wang Yao hurriedly put the watch back, picked up the pen and continued to write: "Near the Dark Moon City, which is occupied by the Decapitation Demon Realm next door, there is a secret passage that leads directly to the Ocean of No Return on the other side of the God Realm."

Since buying the map in the Sun-Shooting Divine City, Wang Yao has become quite familiar with the regional divisions of the divine and demonic realms. When he learned that he was in Jinxiu City, he immediately realized that the demonic realm he was in was the Breaking Heaven Demonic Realm, which was opposite to the Unyielding Divine Realm.

To the east of the Demon Realm of Breaking the Sky lies the Divine Realm of Filling the Sea and the Decapitated Demon Realm opposite it. Further east lies a vast ocean stretching from the southwest to the southeast of the Divine Realm and from the northwest to the northeast of the Demon Realm. That is the largest body of water in the Divine and Demon Realms, the Ocean of No Return.

The Vast Ocean of No Return naturally divides the realm of gods and demons into two relatively equal halves, adjacent to the Western Realm of Reclaiming the Sea, the Western Realm of Beheading, the Western Realm of Conferring Gods, and the Western Realm of Hundred Battles, as well as the Eastern Realm of Warring Heaven, the Western Realm of Red Earth, the Western Realm of Great Swamp, and the Western Realm of Parasitic Life.

The swamps and lakes between Gale Fortress and Partridge Village in the Battle God Domain were actually formed by the water system that flows into the Ocean of No Return.

The Ocean of No Return cannot be crossed. At the border between the realms of gods and demons, there are two consecutive sea areas: the Abyss of Annihilation and the Abyss of Burial of Demons. These two sea areas are extremely strange. Not only do hurricanes and towering waves frequently occur, but they are also often shrouded in thick fog, causing sailors to lose their way and making them extremely dangerous.

Therefore, the Ocean of No Return is naturally divided into two parts: the Ocean of No Return of the Demon Realm and the Ocean of No Return of the God Realm. The Ocean of No Return in each of the realms of the God and Demon Realms is relatively calm and suitable for navigation.

Therefore, the short passage that Wang Yao wrote on the paper contained a great deal of information. It meant that the Demon Realm could bypass the Abyss of Annihilation and the Abyss of Burial of Demons near Dark Moon City and directly enter the Ocean of No Return of the God Realm.

This was exactly what the Lord of Reclamation wanted: to allow the Demon Realm to open up a second battlefield against the God Realm at the Sky Pillar, and to directly send troops to the God Realm's Ocean of No Return. Whether attacking the Reclamation God Realm or the Sealing God Realm, it would be extremely convenient and secretive, and could very well catch the God Realm off guard.

The constable was clearly not a novice in the demon realm. Upon seeing what Wang Yao had written, his expression immediately turned serious. He pondered for a moment, then stood up.

"Wait a moment, I'll take this to the head constable. Whether you can see the Demon Lord or not isn't up to me." The constable stood up, put his top hat back on, buttoned it up, took the form Wang Yao had written on, and hurriedly left the office.

Wang Yao didn't have to wait long before the constable led a one-eyed demon into the office.

"What's your name?" the one-eyed demon asked Wang Yao as soon as he entered the office.

“Hey Liang, this guy’s mute.” The constable hurriedly introduced him to the one-eyed demon. He then pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to Wang Yao, saying loudly, “This is our chief constable. If you want to see the Demon Lord, you have to write down your name first.”

Wang Yao didn't take it to heart and simply picked up a pen and wrote the two large characters "Wang Yao" on the paper.

"Wang Yao? What do you do?" the constable Liang asked again.

“A friend of Lord Lu of Eternal Night City,” Wang Yao continued, too lazy to go on and on about his background, so he simply brought up Lu Da.

Upon seeing the words "Lord Lu of Eternal Night City," Constable Liang gasped in shock. He looked at Wang Yao with suspicion and uncertainty, then took out his phone and made a call right in front of Wang Yao.

Wang Yao's eyes lit up as soon as he saw the phone. He had agreed to help the five immortals in the God and Demon Space complete their mission, but how to contact them was a real problem. If they could talk to each other by phone, it would solve a big problem.

“Director Zhang, this is Xiao Liang from Nangang. Yes, yes, I caught a deaf-mute being from another world today. He said he is from Eternal Night City… he is a deaf-mute being. He… he didn’t speak, he wrote it down. Yes, yes, it was my carelessness. He said… he wrote that he is a friend of Lord Lu of Eternal Night City.”

“Yes…Lord Lu…Eternal Night City…He said…He wrote that his name is Wang Yao, and he also wrote that he has important military information to report to the Demon Lord. Yes…Yes…You are right next to the Lord? That’s great, great…Great…I’ll wait for your call anytime.”

After hanging up the phone, Chief Constable Liang paced anxiously inside and outside his office. The other constable watched him with a look of apprehension on his face.

A moment later, Officer Liang's cell phone rang, and he quickly put it to his ear.

“He…he’s an immortal? Doesn’t seem like it. He…he’s deaf and mute…he’s…he’s deaf and mute…I…I’m sure, he…he only writes, he hasn’t spoken a word…” Constable Liang said anxiously.

"Croak, croak, I'm not deaf and mute, croak, I... I'm an immortal." Seeing that Constable Liang and that Director Zhang seemed to be arguing about whether he was deaf and mute, Wang Yao could no longer care about his frog croaking and hurriedly declared that he was not deaf and mute.
