Chapter Forty-Six: Car Dispute

"What a joke! He doesn't even have a name. How am I supposed to find him? Hundreds of immortals come and go through my South Heavenly Gate every day. I know which one he's talking about. A spy, my foot! You think you can just say that?" Mo Xian was amused by his anger.

“Tell him that trespassing through the South Heavenly Gate and attacking the barrier is a capital offense in the Heavenly Court. Now the Heavenly Court is advocating friendship with the foreign world. Tell him to surrender voluntarily and he will have a way out. Otherwise, if I capture him, I’m afraid I’ll have to be beheaded on the Execution Platform. Tell him to behave himself!” Mo Xian said.

Upon hearing Mo Xian's words, the Ocean God immediately flew into a rage, leaping up and ramming into the protective barrier again. Seeing his arrogance, Mo Xian also became enraged. It should be noted that there was an agreement between the Ocean Realm and the Heavenly Court; the Ocean God was not allowed to trespass into the Heavenly Court, and even entering the Human Realm required prior notification to the Heavenly Court.

This foreign god, Walter, not only barged into the human world but also caused trouble at the Southern Heavenly Gate. He has not only violated the heavenly rules but has committed heinous crimes.

"Hehe, this kid's been jumping around pretty much, huh? I'll teach you a lesson for jumping around!" Mo Xian took a step forward, stretched out a large hand, and the protective shield visibly bent up, like an eggshell, and soon enveloped Yang Shen Hua Er.

"No skill whatsoever, but plenty of guts." Mo Xian muttered to himself, his fingers flexing and spreading. The eggshell grew smaller and smaller, and the figure of Hua Er inside shrank accordingly. In no time, it looked like a miniature Hobbit.

When Wall saw this, he panicked a bit, but he still kept jumping up and down and spouting foreign words, which made Old Zhang frown and wonder what kind of foreign swear words they were.

Mo Xian flicked his fingers, and a thin golden thread emerged from the eggshell. With a wave of his hand, he tossed the golden thread to Director Li.

"Li Kui, take this kid to the detention room first. After I report to the headquarters, I'll hand him over to the patrol officers." Mo Xian said, turning to leave. This damned foreign god has a terrifyingly powerful background, but his abilities are quite lacking. Even Li Kui could probably handle him.

However, the matter involved the foreign god, which was a sensitive issue in the Heavenly Court. He took action personally, which made it easier to control the situation. Although he captured the foreign god, he did not harm him in the slightest. If Li Kui had been sent up, he might have accidentally killed the foreign god, which could have caused a major diplomatic incident.

"Alright!" Director Li agreed, took the golden thread, and gently pulled it, as if he were carrying a giant dinosaur egg. The eggshell rolled around on the ground, and the foreign god inside was spinning around in a daze, no longer spouting foreign words, and just lying in the eggshell pretending to be dead.

Seeing Mo Xian, Director Li, and a group of guards escorting the foreign god Hua Er away with great fanfare, Wang Yao didn't want to watch the spectacle anymore. He had spent most of his energy on Director Li's axes, afraid that he might have chopped in the wrong place.

Now that the matter was settled, no one would ask the matchmaker how to deal with that foreign swindler. The office fell silent; Director Liu hadn't returned yet, so Wang Yao quietly slipped into the elevator and went downstairs.

After entering the elevator, he looked around but couldn't see anything. There was no clue as to where the barrier was. He couldn't help but think more highly of the Heavenly Court's resources.

Clearly, Mo Xian should know that the mess was caused by Xi Da Zui Ba. The South Heavenly Gate wasn't as busy as he claimed. It seems that, faced with the situation of the foreign god coming to his door, he chose to capture the foreign god instead of going to Xi Da Zui Ba. In a way, Mo Xian still has some of the integrity of an immortal.

Wang Yao secretly gave Mo Xian a thumbs up, especially for his effortless skill in grabbing the foreign god with one hand, which made him drool.

After getting off the elevator and leaving the Civilization Building through the back door, Wang Yao's phone suddenly rang again. The caller ID wasn't a notification for a network connection, but rather a "get rich" song. Wang Yao quickly pulled out his phone and saw that it displayed Zhen Huai's number. He hurriedly answered.

"Hello! Is this Wang Yao?" a clear and quick female voice came from inside.

"Uh... I am, and you are..." Wang Yao was a little confused. Why was there a woman talking on Zhen Huai's phone?

"Oh, that's great! I've been looking for you so much, I was so worried! It's like this, Old Yin was arrested by the police, and he asked me to pass on a few words to you..."

Upon hearing that Zhen Huai had been arrested by the police, Wang Yao frowned immediately. He knew Zhen Huai's temper; although he had a sharp tongue, he was extremely law-abiding and timid. How could he have been arrested by the police? Could someone have framed him? Or...?

"Who are you?" Wang Yao asked again.

"...I am Zhang Ying. Lao Yin told me to tell you that he is fine. He didn't touch those three foreign students at all. It's clear from the surveillance footage. He told me to remind you that the police station is looking for you recently. You'd better leave Huadu for a while and come back after things have calmed down."

It turned out to be Zhang Ying. Sure enough, the only person calling Zhen Huai "Old Yin" now is Zhang Ying. It seems it's still about the foreign student being bitten by the centipede. Hearing her say that, Wang Yao felt relieved. Zhen Huai was right; not only did he not harm the foreigner, but he also got beaten up by the two security guards.

With surveillance cameras, it's good enough that Zhen Huai didn't cause trouble for the two security guards. It's probably nothing serious. Wang Yao himself certainly didn't want to go to the police station. Thinking about it this way, he decided to go to Cai Du Xiang Yun City to find the widower Ni Zhenlu and do a mission.

Wang Yao hurriedly thanked Zhang Ying over the phone, then hailed a taxi directly to Huadu Bus Station instead of returning to Fanrong Lane. When he arrived at the station, he became worried again. Would the police station look for him like a fugitive, drawing up a picture and issuing a warrant for his arrest?

But then he thought again, he was even more obedient than Zhen Huai at the scene. He neither hit anyone nor was he hit. So what kind of fugitive was he? The police station called him over, which was at most to assist in the investigation. It didn't make sense to issue a warrant for his arrest all over the world.
