Is this the one?
A pleasant and familiar male voice rang out above her head, causing Qian Sui to freeze instantly.
Chisui looked up and saw a beautiful hand holding the book she had been looking for.
The book cover wasn't attractive at all, but the hand holding it was fair, slender, and had distinct knuckles. He just casually picked it up, and it looked like a beautiful scene that only appears in an advertisement with lighting and set design.
As a result, the book became much more enjoyable.
As a hand-obsessed fangirl, Chitose stared at it for a long time.
Then she realized what was happening.

These hands belong to Ling Shen!

Ling Shen took the book, and with a slight movement of his hand, brought it within Qian Sui's reach.
After regaining her senses, Qian Sui reached out and snatched the book from Ling Shen's hand, then hugged it to her chest.

Qian Sui paused, then turned and ran to the right, but Ling Shen braced his other hand on the bookshelf on the right, thus trapping Qian Sui.
Qian Sui turned her head and met Ling Shen's smiling eyes.
Qian Sui panicked and immediately squatted down, trying to slip away from underneath.
But as soon as she squatted down, Ling Shen squatted down as well.
But no matter how they moved, Ling Shen's two hands remained firmly planted on either side of Qian Sui, preventing her from escaping.
Qian Sui looked at Ling Shen with a somewhat aggrieved expression in her eyes.
The Ling Shen that Qian Sui usually saw was always dressed in a meticulously tailored suit, but today, perhaps to match the school atmosphere, Ling Shen changed into a more casual outfit. Although he was still dressed in all black, the feeling he gave off was completely different.
Ling Shen had always seemed mature beyond his years, after all, he was only twenty years old and had to take over the entire Ling Group. Facing so much turmoil in the business world, he naturally had to present himself well.
But Ling Shen today was completely different from usual.
He seemed to have shed his disguise and met Chitose with his most authentic self.

Ling Shen's light chuckle brought Qian Sui back to her senses.
Qian Sui looked at Ling Shen in front of her, feeling somewhat uncomfortable because they were so close.
The fact that Ling Shen was laughing like that made her feel both embarrassed and angry.
Qian Sui looked away, snorted, and said, "I know you! That's why I'm avoiding you."
Ling Shen was puzzled by Qian Sui's words.
Why are you avoiding me?
Qian Sui puffed out her cheeks, remaining silent and not looking at Ling Shen.
Ling Shen then reached out and pinched Qian Sui's chin, forcing her to look at him. He lowered his voice and coaxed, "Tell me, why are you avoiding me?"
When Chisui is happy, she likes to have her head patted, but when she is unhappy, she dislikes physical contact with others.
Ling Shen reached out and pinched her chin. She rubbed her chin with the back of her hand in dissatisfaction, then turned to look directly at Ling Shen and said, "You know it yourself!"
Ling Shen was even more bewildered when Qian Sui said those words.
Did he know?
What did he know?
Ling Shen said, "I don't know."
The two were standing close together, and Qian Sui could feel the aura emanating from Ling Shen.
Ling Shen's aura is always oppressive. Before meeting Ling Shen, Qian Sui's stance is very clear: she wants to keep her distance from him!
But now that she has met Ling Shen and is speaking to him face to face, Qian Sui has started to feel a little timid.

Ling Shen has a high IQ and his business acumen is undeniable, but he has been in a state of autism since he was ten to eighteen years old.
After he turned eighteen, he devoted all his attention to his work and rarely had contact with girls.
Moreover, all the women around him were trying to curry favor with him.
No matter what Ling Shen says or does, they will rush towards him one after another.
There's absolutely no need for Ling Shen to coax them.
This also makes Ling Shen somewhat weak in dealing with girls' emotions.
He couldn't understand what he had done to make Qian Sui avoid him.
