There was simply no time to come back to the family hospital.
The damage to public places was significant, and almost all the men were involved in the emergency repairs to restore public facilities.
Only family members can visit the family compound.
In other families, there are elderly people and children, so they can lend a hand.

The quilts and grains were placed on top of the cabinet on the stool on the kang (a heated brick bed), and thus were preserved.
Now open the windows, and the sea breeze will blow in, creating a cross breeze that will dry the house in no time.
Huo Qing had no choice; her back ached, her lower body felt heavy, and she was indeed suffering from back pain. She could only sit there and watch her sister-in-law help her tidy up.
Although it's nighttime, every household in the residential compound is tidying up their houses.
Several houses had their courtyard walls collapse, but luckily the bricks were still in the yards, otherwise, it would be hard to know what to find to rebuild the walls.
After tidying up Huo Qing's yard, Yingyue prepared to go out.
She turned on the flashlight.
There is no electricity on the island right now, and it's unclear when it will be restored. Yingyue has to be very careful when using her flashlight.
She didn't turn on her flashlight while tidying up inside, but she needs to turn it on now that she's going out.
Worried that Huo Qing might be scared being home alone, Yingyue went to her own closet next door, found a candle, and lit it in Huo Qing's house.
"Sister-in-law, where are you going?"
"I'll go to the logistics department and get some quicklime."
Although the sea breeze can dry the land quickly, it has still been soaked in seawater. If lime is not used to disinfect it, Yingyue will not feel at ease living there.
Especially with pregnant women like Huo Qing in the household, extra care must be taken when it comes to disinfection.
Yingyue told Huo Qing to go back inside.
She went out with a flashlight.
They hadn't gone far when they ran into Huo Qing and Dou Chenfeng, who were rushing back.
The two of them were carrying some things in their hands.
Upon seeing Yingyue, Huo Qing immediately strode forward.
Where is Yueyue going?
Yingyue smelled the quicklime and smiled, pointing to the bag in Huo Cheng's hand. "I was just about to look for this!"
He then returned it to her.
Yingyue had a smile on her face.
Even after a busy day, and even though Huo Cheng wasn't by her side, she didn't see a trace of resentment on her face.
Huo Cheng felt guilty and reached out to hold her hand.
"Thanks for your hard work."
Have you had dinner yet?
"Yes, I've already eaten."
Yingyue smiled and greeted Dou Chenfeng beside her, "Brother-in-law, don't worry, Xiaoqing is fine, and I've taken care of tidying up the house."
Dou Chenfeng was deeply moved.
"Thank you, sister-in-law."
"Thank you for your hard work, sister-in-law."
"It's nothing, just a small favor."
When the two men returned home, they saw the grain stored in the cupboard. They couldn't believe that their food had survived the flooding of the entire residential compound.
Yingyue was scattering lime in the courtyard.
