Chapter 90 Believe

Chapter 90 Believe

When the girl finished singing the song, the onlookers applauded.

Jiang Zhao looked a little dazed.

"What are you thinking about?"

Jiang Zhao came back to his senses: "I was thinking how well she sang."

Luo Yan: "Let's go."

"Um."

The Provincial University of Technology is very large. Beyond the basketball court, there is an artificial lake, and the School of Economics and Management is on the other side of the lake.

The two of them were not idle on the way, and simply went over the ideas for the last four questions.

The two of them worked together every day, their ideas were similar, and Jiang Zhao just wanted to laugh when they looked at each other.

"What's wrong?"

Jiang Zhao cleared his throat and imitated the lines from the movie: "I remembered something happy."

Luo Yan knew what she was talking about, but he still agreed with her: "What happy thing?"

Jiang Zhao: "The agreement is halfway fulfilled. Isn't it worth celebrating?"

Luo Yan curled his lips: "The other half will also come true."

The cobblestone road by the lake was bumpy. Jiang Zhao didn't pay attention and stumbled. Luo Yan grabbed her hand and said, "Be careful."

The two of them held hands naturally.

There are many couples in college, but they are not conspicuous.

Jiang Zhao looked at him and licked his lips: "My deskmate, I'm not really thinking about winning the national gold medal."

Luo Yan turned around.

He waited for her to finish the rest of her words.

Jiang Zhao said: "I want to join the national team, participate in international competitions, and win the IMO gold medal together."

This is crazy.

People often only put forward grand dreams in a joking manner, and hide their true desires with a nonchalant smile.

Because once ideals are exposed, they will be scrutinized by others.

It's like being pushed into the spotlight and being watched by people.

Onlookers will not be happy for your success, but will cheer for your failure and then offer false comfort.

When Jiang Zhao looked at him and said this, his eyes were burning with ambition.

So vivid.

So charming.

It seems that the most beautiful roses can bloom from it.

Luo Yan knew that she was serious.

Jiang Zhao had been like this since he first met her.

This is the kind of her he likes.

Luo Yan said: "I believe you can do it."

"It's not me." Jiang Zhao emphasized: "It's us."

Luo Yan held her hand tightly.

In the early spring weather, girls' hands are very hot, like a small stove.

He said, "Okay."

——————

The School of Economics and Management occupies a large piece of land and the building is very new.

The gray building has seven floors, and large panes of glass reflect the cold light.

There is a stone in front of the building with the words "School of Economics and Management" engraved in red. There are brass statues along the way. You can tell without looking that they are probably celebrities in economics or management.

It is lunchtime now and there are almost no people in the teaching building. It is very quiet.

A small garden was built behind the building, with a few tables and chairs hidden among the evergreen shrubs.

Jiang Zhao pulled Luo Yan to find a seat and said, "So this is how you make money."

It is obviously a provincial university of science and technology, but the buildings of other colleges I saw along the way were far less big and luxurious than the School of Economics and Management.

When she passed by the building, the air conditioning inside made her think it was summer.

"Oh right," Jiang Zhao said, "When I went home for the New Year, I played ring toss with the kids in our neighborhood several times."

When Jiang Wei went to discuss donations, she ate at her neighbor's house all day, so she led the children in the building every day, like the Monkey King leading his monkeys in a parade.

Luo Yan: "How is the battle going?"

Jiang Zhao made a five with the hand: "Back home, we sell twenty rings for five yuan! But the things we get are not worth much, just soda and snacks."

"So all your battle results were eaten?"

"I've gained knowledge and skills, okay?" she said. "When we go again this year, I'm sure we can redeem ourselves."

“I thought it was a circle problem that day.”

"Don't use your memory for things like this."

Gradually, people began to pass by.

Luo Yan said: "Let's go back."

The two left the small garden and saw a woman in front of them when they passed the corridor on the other side.

The woman was about forty years old. Jiang Zhao looked at her and felt that she looked familiar.

She was wearing a black coat, leaning against the wall, chatting with another man.

The man didn't know what he said. The woman raised her hand and patted the man's shoulder affectionately, then smiled with her hands covering her lips.

Then she turned around, and the smile on her face froze instantly when she saw Jiang Zhao and Luo Yan.

Jiang Zhao recognized it.

She had seen it at the parents' meeting.

That was Luo Yan's mother.

What about the other person?

Jiang Zhao subconsciously looked at Luo Yan.

He stared at Xu Xin with a cold gaze and no expression on his face, as if he was looking at a stranger, but his clenched fists betrayed his turbulent emotions.

Xu Xin quickly adjusted her expression and walked towards the two of them with a smile.

"Let's go." Luo Yan said with difficulty.

He saw a trace of confusion in Jiang Zhao's eyes, and he knew that she probably recognized Xu Xin.

How should he explain it?

Continue to lie to her?

"good."

Luo Yan heard Jiang Zhao's voice. Her tone was decisive and firm. Jiang Zhao held his hand and turned to walk in the direction they came from.

She pulled him and walked through the lush garden again, through the teaching building which was as warm as spring.

Jiang Zhao walked so fast and with such firm steps that Luo Yan felt that she wanted to escape from here more than he did.

She didn't stop until she left the School of Economics and Management and walked onto the path beside the artificial lake.

The girl turned around, her cheeks slightly red. Luo Yan lowered his head unconsciously, waiting for her questions.

Waiting for your own verdict.

The air was as quiet as the silence before an execution.

Jiang Zhao sighed softly and called out, "Luo Yan."

Instead of calling out to her deskmate like she had done for the past six months, she called out his name.

Luo Yan pretended to be calm, but his voice was trembling: "What's wrong?"

Jiang Zhao stretched out his arms and hugged him.

"Luo Yan."

She called his name again, her arms around his waist and back, her face buried in his shoulder, and muffled, "I think you were very sad just now."

She hugged me tightly.

Luo Yan subconsciously reached out and touched the back of the girl's furry head: "A little bit."

He has become numb.

If Jiang Zhao hadn't been beside him, he could have just pretended not to see Xu Xin and walked straight past him.

"Can I ask why?" Jiang Zhao raised his head. "Although I really want to be considerate and say it, if you don't want to, then don't tell me. But I'm worried about you."

At that moment, she even felt that she had a glimpse of the cause of his death.

How could she turn a blind eye?

The girl's eyes sparkled with tears, and she seemed to be about to cry.

Luo Yan held her shoulders: "Jiang Zhao."

He said: "If I told you, you might think I'm a... terrible person."

He didn't dare to gamble.

Jiang Zhao took a deep breath.

"I believe in the Luo Yan I know."

She grabbed his hand and said, "Well, can you trust yourself for once?"
