Although there was no tour guide fee, Jiang Yi still went out with him on the eleventh day.
Only one student went home for the National Day holiday; the rest remained in the dorm. Seeing Jiang Yi getting dressed up so early in the morning, Guan Nini and the others clicked their tongues and said, "Going on a date?"
Jiang Yi initially wanted to deny it, but then felt there was no need to. After all, she had a feeling that their relationship would improve rapidly after this trip. So, with a blush on her face, she gave a vague reply.
The two men could tell from her animated expression and meticulous drawing that something good had happened to her.
Guan Nini was in a hurry to leave, so she grabbed her bag and, before going out, leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "I wish you all the best, and hope you get to home base with Young Master Xu soon!"
She was fine until she spoke, and Jiang Yi's ears turned even redder. She gave her a light glare.
Guan Nini didn't care how absurd her words were. She was happy for her friend's good news, so she slung the pearl bag over her shoulder and went out laughing.
Jiang Yi put on a sweet makeup look today. After finishing her makeup, she tried on several outfits and finally wore a purple dress before going out.
When they got downstairs, Xu Wang was already there.
He was dressed simply in black clothes and white pants, standing under the tall paulownia tree, his eyebrows and eyes shining brightly, with an indescribable brilliance in his eyes.
Butterflies fluttered gently on the large, mushroom-shaped boxwood leaves nearby, as if celebrating their departure.
Jiang Yi had been quite looking forward to it, but for some reason, she suddenly felt a little shy. She looked down and rummaged through her bag, making sure she hadn't forgotten anything, before slowly moving in front of him.
Xu Wang was a little taller than her. When he saw her approaching, he glanced down at her makeup and said with a slight smile, "You look very beautiful today."
She was exceptionally beautiful; her cheeks were rosy with a hint of white, her lips were moist, and her long eyelashes fluttered nervously like butterfly wings. Xu Wang found her adorable, and his palms even started to itch. However, it wasn't the right time yet, and he didn't dare to easily take her hand.
With his hands in his pockets, he led her to the parking area.
The car was parked nearby, and after walking a few steps, I arrived at the white car parked on the side of the road.
Once in the car, Xu Wang rested his hand on the steering wheel, turned around, looked at Jiang Yi who was taking out a small mirror to check if her makeup was messed up, and asked with a smile, "Where do you want to go?"
Jiang Yi had no idea where she wanted to go. She paused for a moment, holding the mirror, and said, "I don't know either. Go wherever you want."
Xu Wang was happy to make the arrangements, since he had read a lot of dating tips last night and they would come in handy eventually.
He glanced down at his phone and said, "Then let's go to the beach."
Jiang Yi sat down, her dark eyes darting around. Finding no objections, she agreed, "Okay."
The beach is a bit far from here. Jiang Yi sat in the car, watching the city with its towering buildings gradually transition into the countryside with its fields. Her mood slowly calmed down. After another half hour, they arrived at the beach.
However, the sun was blazing outside, showering the earth with light and heat as if it were free. If you stood outside for even a moment, beads of sweat would roll down your forehead. Jiang Yi couldn't stand the heat outside, so she ran into the air-conditioned hotel lobby with Xu Wang. The cool breeze made her feel alive again.
