Chapter 15 Hillbilly

Seeing the mother and daughter with similar faces, Sun Lifang was immediately annoyed, thinking that like mother, like daughter.

The wicked accused her first. Sun Lifang lowered her head to check her daughter to make sure she hadn't been in a fight, and then prepared to fight back.

Zhou Xinya spoke first: "Stupid pig wearing stupid skirt, chubby big stupid pig!"

The chubby girl was wearing a puffy skirt and was quite plump, so Sun Lifang couldn't help but laugh after looking her over.

The girl couldn't hold back any longer and became furious: "I'll call security to kick you out!"

"Go ahead and try to get rid of him. If you can't, you're still a stupid, big idiot."

The chubby girl panicked and shook her mother, saying, "They're scavengers, let's go tell the security guards!"

The woman realized that the two were mother and daughter, and frowned as she thought about her daughter's behavior just now.

Before the woman could speak, Sun Lifang preemptively said to her, "Keep an eye on your daughter. It's pointless for adults to get involved in children's quarrels."

The woman was very perceptive. She gave Sun Lifang an awkward smile. Although she couldn't tell their family background by the handbag she was wearing, she could at least be sure that they weren't country bumpkins.

She pulled the chubby girl out: "Quick! Apologize to your sister."

The girls grumbled and protested, but Sun Lifang didn't even glance at them. "Come on, it's our turn."

Once in the elevator, Sun Lifang pushed the wheelchair, and Zhou Xinya took the handbag from her; she hadn't forgotten the woman's gaze from earlier.

She hugged her mother tightly, having fought the bad guys together with her, and her mother hadn't even scolded her yet! The little girl consciously sided with her mother, holding her hand and whispering, "I wish I could wear a new dress today, but even if I did, I wouldn't play with her."

"Do you know her?" Sun Lifang didn't remember this person at all. Zhou Xinya was nearsighted, didn't like to go out, and seemed to have few friends.

“She said my new dress must have been stolen.” Zhou Xinya’s voice was stiff. “The old dress was made by my great-grandmother. She doesn’t believe my family has a new dress. She said if we do, it must have been stolen.”

It turned out they lived in the same neighborhood, Sun Lifang realized, but then she heard Zhou Xinya mutter, "She doesn't play with me and tells other people that I'm a thief, that I'm from out of town, and that they don't play with thieves from out of town."
