Since it was so late, Sun Lifang set up a table on the balcony.
The evening breeze carried a sweet fragrance from the flowerbeds, and after a while, even the melancholy in her heart dissipated a little.
The food arrived, and this time a security guard came up with her. He told her that in the future, security guards would accompany any outsiders upstairs to put her at ease.
After thanking the security guard, I laid out the cooked food on the balcony, went into the kitchen to heat the milk in the microwave, and found my daughter already asleep on the sofa.
"Get up, eat your fill, and then go back to sleep."
Sun Lifang poked her daughter's chubby little face. The daughter rubbed her eyes and sat up, her hair a mess, and asked blankly, "Is it dawn yet?"
How could it be so fast?
She was so adorably silly that Sun Lifang's heart melted. "Get up, eat breakfast, and get some sleep. I won't wake you up tomorrow morning." Her daughter used to get up early every day to read.
Zhou Xinya smelled the aroma of the food and walked over.
First, I ate a chicken leg, and after a whole bowl of hot wontons, I felt much more energetic.
Liu Chang ate even faster. She had been hungry for a long time. She had eaten at noon and was looking forward to her date that evening, so she hadn't eaten anything. Luckily, Sun Lifang had bought a lot, and she ate it all up in no time.
After they finished eating, Sun Lifang brought over some warmed milk: "Drink this and get a good night's sleep."
After clearing the table, Sun Lifang supervised her daughter to brush her teeth, get into bed, and turn off the lights, then knocked on the guest room door.
The guest room only had a bed, a cabinet, and a dressing table. Liu Chang opened the door and asked her, "What's up so late?"
Sun Lifang did not answer directly, but closed the door and sat down.
After a long silence, she spoke: "You can't marry Song Chao."
