Chapter 7 is about attitude.

"You..." Liu Chang tilted his head to look at her, seemingly sensing something, and sighed, "So, you were also a messenger sent by my mother, weren't you?"

In an effort to awaken their daughter, her parents mobilized everyone they knew, with people coming to their home every day to try and persuade her, using the excuse of unequal family backgrounds and educational levels.

She finally got some peace and quiet when the mall stores reopened and she went to work.

Sun Lifang did not deny it; she asked Liu Chang, "Why did you marry him?"

“Sister, I’ll call you Sister Fang.” Liu Chang’s tone was still gentle. “I know what I’m doing. I like him. Although he doesn’t have money and his education is not as good as mine, I can’t blame him. He was able to get into university in that environment. I admire him very much.”

Song Chao came from a poor family, but he was ambitious and promised to treat her well for the rest of his life.

Most importantly, Liu Chang said earnestly, "He's good to me."

If their hearts are together, they will surely have a good life.

Sun Lifang looked at Liu Chang's stubborn face, listening to her endless praise, "He's so good to me, he even washes my socks, and he'll hold me in his arms when we're on the bus..."

Through countless little details, Liu Chang was so immersed in love that she felt like the happiest person in the world.

"What if he's faking it? Isn't being good to you the most basic requirement? If your parents don't agree, shouldn't you talk to them first?"

Liu Chang's current age is about the same as Zhou Xinya's age before she transmigrated. Sun Lifang puts herself in the shoes of Liu Chang's parents. How heartbroken must the parents be to have raised their daughter for more than 20 years and then foolishly embarked on a treacherous path?

She continued, "If he respects you, he should strive to improve himself, instead of... using sweet talk to trick someone into bed and getting them pregnant, forcing them to compromise."

"What we need is an attitude."

"But..." Liu Chang wanted to defend her boyfriend.

Sun Lifang interrupted her, "Can you guarantee he'll treat you well for the rest of his life? How about we make a bet? If I lose, I'll apologize to you, and you'll have more security."

"How do I do it?" Unable to argue with her, Liu Chang asked.

She had tested Song Chao before, but no matter how much she threw a tantrum, her boyfriend always tolerated it.

Sun Lifang whispered the plan in Liu Chang's ear.

"Will this really work?"

Liu Chang was very skeptical, but Sun Lifang continued to provoke her, saying, "Anyway, I don't believe what you're saying, and besides, you won't lose out no matter what."

After closing the door, Sun Lifang turned on her wristwatch again and told Xiao Yan about her plan.

Xiao Yan replied instantly: "That's a good idea, but what if Song Chao manages to get away with it?"

Just like today, she learned that her birth date was fake and that she was not a premature baby. No one knew her father's habit of lying, blaming others, and shirking responsibility better than she did.

Sun Lifang: "What's your idea?"

Based on Sun Lifang's idea, Xiaoyan added a point that she considered foolproof, edited it, and sent it over.

"that's all..."

The next day, early morning.

Perhaps because she was too tired yesterday, Sun Lifang got up half an hour later than usual. Thinking about today's tasks, she quickly got up.

She got up to brush her teeth and wash her face. She glanced at the clock and saw that it was already past eight o'clock. There were notebooks and pencils lying on the sofa in the living room, but her daughter was nowhere to be seen.

When I went back to the small room, I heard my daughter's voice coming from the guest room.

"Mom, come quick! Aunt Liu Chang is missing!" Zhou Xinya knew her mother had made plans with Aunt Liu, and hurriedly explained, "I heard her on the phone this morning, and then I woke up. Aunt Liu went back to the guest room to catch up on her sleep, and I went to the small room to get my books to study. I just realized that her door wasn't closed properly..."

Liu Chang ran away, and Sun Lifang didn't bother to tidy up. She changed her clothes and was about to go out.

"Are you sure you can manage on your own?" Sun Lifang put on her other shoe and turned around to explain, "There's bread in the shop window and frozen dumplings in the fridge... Never mind, just order some food and put it on my tab."

“No,” Zhou Xinya refused immediately. “I don’t want to stay home alone. What if Teacher Lin comes looking for me again?” Most importantly, she wanted to stay with her mother.

My daughter has finally grown a bit bolder and dares to refuse people.

"Okay, okay, hurry up and get ready." The mother and daughter jogged along.

However, just as they were about to leave the building, they ran into Liu Chang, who was getting out of a taxi.

"sister."

She was clearly taken aback when she saw Sun Lifang, followed by embarrassment. A man was following behind her.

Wearing a floral shirt with dress pants, sunglasses clipped to the collar, and leather shoes, he looked completely out of place.

Sun Lifang recognized him at a glance; he was Song Chao, the man in the photo.

Song Chao said to Liu Chang, "Hurry up and find the household registration book so we can register our marriage. I'll take care of you from now on."

Liu Chang looked embarrassed at Sun Lifang and stammered, "I'm not sure if I lost it here. What if I don't?"

Song Chao turned around with a look of disgust on his face. "How could you be so muddle-headed? How am I supposed to entrust you with the family finances in the future? Go find someone first."

"Because I..."

“My parents finally made the trip to Haicheng, and they came with the intention of seeing us get our marriage certificate. I already asked you to give me your household registration book and ID card, and I will keep them for you. We have been together for so long, you know that, but you never listen to anything I say.”

Song Chao used a combination of gentle persuasion and firmness, and said in a softer voice, "Honey, I'm not really angry, I'm just sad. You don't care at all, that's why you lost it. What are we going to do now that the household registration book is lost?"

Liu Chang frowned: "I'm not ignoring it, let's stick to the facts, shall we?"

"Besides, I paid for your parents' train tickets and hotel. Isn't that enough of a show of sincerity?"
