Chen Kang led his men back to the residential area, where they were spotted by the security captain.
"Director Chen! Director Chen, please wait a moment. We caught two sneaky kids, and when we checked the surveillance footage, we found that they had tied up your child. We were just about to call the police."
Where are the two children?
"This way."
The security captain led Chen Kang to the two children. Chen Kang had her subordinates take them away, and then they went to the neighbor's house to find Chen Yu. The moment she saw Chen Yu, Chen Kang's heart was finally at ease. She went up to check on her and, after confirming that Chen Yu was alright, thanked the neighbor and took Chen Yu back to the station.
"Yu Yu, go with Uncle Zhang to give your statement."
Chen Yu nodded obediently and followed Uncle Zhang, whom Chen Kang had mentioned, into the interrogation room. Chen Kang and the other police officers were in the interrogation room with the two children, listening to their statements that they did it to save Jiang Yang and the others.
Looking at this group of underage children, Chen Kang sighed deeply. How could they have become so bad?
Chen Yu left the interrogation room in less than half an hour, and Chen Kang took her to his office to rest.
"Yu Yu, don't tell Mom yet. She can't accept two bad things happening at once."
"Okay, Dad. I want to go home and rest first. I'm a little tired."
Chen Kang thought for a moment. He was afraid that Chen Yu would be scared if he went back home alone, but Chen Yu was adamant that she had to go home to rest, so Chen Kang had no choice but to drive her home.
Chen Yu opened the car door and got out.
"Yu Yu, you must call your dad if anything happens."
"knew."
Just as Chen Yu was about to close the car door, she realized her phone was missing. "Dad, I just dropped my phone."
Chen Kang looked around at the nearby stores, and found that most of them closed too late.
"You probably can't buy a phone now. Dad will bring it back for you when he comes back tomorrow morning. Is it the same model as before?"
"Yes, the previous style is fine."
