Chen Yu and Wang Yue walked at the front of the line; each table could seat six people.
The instructors just happened to group the four of them together.
As soon as Wang Yue got to her seat, she sat down, exhausted. Chen Yu tugged at her sleeve and said, "Stand up, the instructor hasn't said anything yet!"
"Huh? I can't sit down yet!" Wang Yue jumped up. The instructor saw this but turned a blind eye.
Jiang Yang shook his head at Wang Yue. Everyone in the cafeteria was standing; it was obvious that they couldn't sit.
"Okay, sit down!" the instructor shouted, and everyone sat down. Wang Yue rubbed her rumbling stomach, wishing she had eaten more this morning.
The head instructor stood at the front, holding a megaphone and rattling off a long string of words, roughly outlining the rules to be followed for the next few days, and that fighting and causing trouble were absolutely forbidden here.
After saying that, he told the students to take their bowls and go to the front to get their food.
Wang Yue was very enthusiastic when she heard about eating. Their table was at the very front, and she was the first to get her food.
Shen Yan had only taken two bites when he was called over by the instructor.
Chen Yu looked in his direction with some worry, as he didn't remember this scene happening before.
Is this instructor going to cause him trouble? Did that scoundrel Li Chang report him again?
Shen Yan nodded several times and returned shortly afterward.
"What's wrong, Shen Yan?" Chen Yu couldn't help but ask.
"It's nothing, they just want me to lead the team well this afternoon."
Shen Yan answered calmly, lowering his head to eat the food in his bowl. Chen Yu pursed his lips, picked up a piece of winter melon and ate it.
After the meal, the instructors led the team back to their dormitories to rest.
Wang Yue fell asleep as soon as she touched the bed, but Chen Yu couldn't fall asleep no matter what she did, her mind filled with Chen Yan's words.
She always felt that it was Li Chang, that petty person, who had complained about her.
She fell asleep without realizing it.
The whistle blew precisely at 2:30 PM, and Chen Yu sat bolt upright. She felt like she had just fallen asleep, and she was already up!
Wang Yue rolled over, trying to go back to sleep, but Chen Yu shook her arm frantically. "Get up, Wang Yue! Being late means you'll be punished by running laps!"
The allure of running laps is undeniable. Wang Yue immediately sat up, put on her clothes, and ran after Chen Yu.
Fortunately, the two were fast and arrived 2 minutes early.
Others weren't so lucky; those who were late had their afternoon training canceled and were made to run laps on the track instead.
Wang Yue watched in alarm, thankfully Chen Yu called her, otherwise she would have run away on her own.
The afternoon training was not intense; it consisted mainly of basic content.
Chen Yu, however, felt that it wasn't too difficult.
Shen Yan led the team ahead. When they passed other classes, someone shouted "Let's have a competition!" and the competition that started during the afternoon training session began.
Chen Yu's class wasn't bad, but their discipline was still poor.
"Instructor Zhang, how was it for the loser? At least say something."
"How about the loser does 50 squats?"
"Sure, since Instructor Zhang has spoken, we certainly won't refuse."
The instructor from the next class looked at Instructor Zhang with a grin, but Chen Yu felt uncomfortable with his smile; it seemed a bit lewd and provocative.
Wang Yue tugged at Chen Yu's hand in the line, "This is Ma Qi's class."
Chen Yu looked around and indeed saw Ma Qi in the front row, but his hat covered his face so she couldn't see him clearly.
Ma Qi raised his chin and stared at Chen Yu. In the blink of an eye, he saw the smug Li Yang. The previous events were still fresh in his mind. Ma Qi glared angrily at Li Yang.
"Shall we begin? Instructor Zhang, you two go first?"
"Sure."
Instructor Zhang gave the command to Chen Yan. Only when Chen Yan's voice rang out did Chen Yu come back to his senses and begin to perform the actions according to Chen Yan's command.
The whole process went smoothly, but people in Ma Qi's class made some dissenting noises.
"Great job, Instructor Zhang! You're doing a great job as always. Now it's our turn."
The instructor from the next class started giving commands, and it must be said that the students in that class were indeed quite synchronized.
They even invited an additional senior instructor to judge the case.
Surprisingly, Chen Yu's class won.
This made Li Yang extremely proud. "Oh dear, how embarrassing!"
"Yeah, right! I thought he was something special." His classmate next to him chimed in.
The instructor from the next class smiled awkwardly, but still honored his bet and made Ma Qi's class do 50 squats.
Chen Yu and Wang Yue chuckled secretly, not daring to laugh too loudly. Instructor Zhang said that whoever laughed would have to sit with them.
After their class finished their squatting exercises last night, around mealtime, the instructor led their class to the entrance of the canteen.
"Wait here, everyone. We'll let you rest after we win today."
"Yay!"
The students in the class sat on the floor chatting excitedly.
Wang Yue leaned against Chen Yu, "I'm so tired, it's so hard to get through."
"Just bear with it a little longer, it'll be over soon, there are only two days left."
Chen Yu touched Wang Yue's cheek. She was also very tired, but she still wanted Wang Yue to lean on her.
"Stand up!" the instructor shouted, and the students in the class stood up somewhat reluctantly.
It was only later that we realized it was the teachers and the head instructor who had come.
Their class greeted the teachers and instructors in unison, earning praise from the teachers.
The instructors led them into the canteen. Their class was the first to arrive and sat in the front row.
Other classes arrived at the cafeteria one after another, and they only started eating after everyone had arrived.
Wang Yue was so hungry that she ate two bowls of rice.
"Are you a reincarnated starving ghost?" Jiang Yang couldn't stand it anymore.
"Oh dear, aren't you hungry? I'm starving."
Wang Yue didn't argue with Jiang Yang and just ate her meal by herself.
Chen Yu and Shen Yan didn't say anything; they ate their meal quietly.
There wasn't much training in the evenings; we just had to go to the training ground to listen to the instructors speak.
Chen Yu and Wang Yue took a shower before going out.

Chen Yu and Wang Yue sat on small chairs, while Shen Yan and the instructor went to the side to tidy up their things.
Jiang Yang secretly took a chair and went behind Wang Yue. "Ugh, I'm so annoyed, I want to go home."
"Me too, I should have said I was sick and wouldn't have come."
Wang Yue wearily propped her head up with her hands, staring blankly ahead.
"Chen Yu, don't you want to go home?"
"Well, there are only two days left, let's just bear with it."
Chen Yu actually found it quite fun, although the training was a bit tiring, but otherwise it was great.
"Students, please be quiet. Now, let's welcome our grade head to say a few words. Let's give him a round of applause."
Wang Yue didn't want to listen at all, so she simply started slapping her hands with Jiang Yang. Chen Yu was also too lazy to listen to these things; they were all just encouraging everyone to study hard, and she was tired of hearing them.
The instructor walked over to the three of them and, as Chen Yu had been warned, secretly kicked her chair several times.
