Huo Yanru turned around in shock, staring at the tightly closed door.

The tightly closed door was suddenly kicked open, and Xie Lingqin stood there, her eyes like stars, burning Huo Yanru's eyes.
Beside her, a young man with a fair complexion withdrew his foot, glaring at her with obvious anger, making her feel as if her blood was about to freeze from the agony of being slowly sliced apart.

When Bai Ling heard Xie Lingqin's voice, she felt like she was dreaming. But when she saw the door open and her brother appear at the door, she was overjoyed and burst into tears. Her tense emotions suddenly relaxed, and she cried.
"Bai Ling." Bai Yu strode in, and as she pushed Huo Yanru aside, she waved her hand, and the rope binding Bai Ling was untied.

Startled, Huo Yanru immediately shouted towards the door, "Assassin! Assassin! Someone come quick!"
"Stop yelling." Xie Lingqin shouted, and Huo Yanru immediately fell silent, pulling a maid from Liu'an in front of her.
But Xie Lingqin stepped forward, grabbed and pushed them aside, leaving the maids behind.
Huo Yanru shrank back in fright, stammering, "You, you, you, didn't you go back to the General's Mansion? You... how are you here? How did you know..."
