Chapter 59 If I don't die, I'll marry you.

With a soft murmur, he pressed down on her with far greater strength than she could muster.

Whether it was due to the spiritual power of the cloud technique or something else, the two of them breathed faster and felt that the atmosphere around them suddenly became rich and beautiful.

His hands, his arms, every finger of his were as if they were filled with something—domineering, heavy, warm, and swaying.

"Qin'er, Qin'er..." he called out again and again, as if softly expressing his longing.

Under a clear blue sky with rain and clouds, a hundred flowers bloom, nourishing the body and relieving fatigue.

Nan Lingqin was like a small boat drifting and undulating, seemingly oblivious yet perfectly lucid.

At this moment, the spiritual energy within his body seemed to reach Yuwen Yao's lungs and lungs automatically, without Nan Lingqin needing to do anything, and even penetrated his heart.

Exhausted!

Finally, as if achieving a great success, the last trace of spiritual energy in his body flowed into Yu Guangyao's body. His bones were glowing and shining, and everything seemed to be reborn within him.

To purify, to wash.

The two of them seemed to be surrounded by a layer of light mist.

Then, Yuwen Yao's complexion gradually became rosy, and he could feel the surge spreading through his body, reaching Nan Lingqin's body and making her body, which had been parched from being drained, gradually come back to life.

He held her close, getting closer and closer until there was no gap between them.

After a long while, they stopped, and no more mist emanated from their bodies.

Nan Lingqin weakly withdrew her hand, but was caught by Yuwen Yao's hands just as she was about to fall.

"Yuwen Yao, you really went all out."

The air in the southern spirit is as faint as a wisp of smoke.

Yuwen Yao's complexion, however, was much better. His face was like jade, and his skin was rosy. He looked content and satisfied, a beauty that was hard to look away from.

But he still held her tightly, refusing to let go.

He looked at her, gazing at her with tenderness, as if he wanted to capture her in his eyes.

"Why are you looking at me? You're alive, but I'm exhausted. You've really gotten a great deal."

Nan Lingqin was very depressed, feeling like she had been taken advantage of.

Yuwen Yao suddenly smiled, then lowered his head and kissed her already swollen lips again, his thin lips softly saying, "I've heard of dual cultivation before, and now that I think about it, it should be like this."

The person who had eaten a very satisfying meal felt refreshed and invigorated.

Nan Lingqin rolled her eyes at him, "Have you no shame?"

"No, I don't need you anymore. You're enough for me."

"Do you still want to die?"

"I won't die, I'll marry you."

Nan Lingqin suddenly smiled. On her clear and beautiful face, her starry eyes, which had been cold for too long, suddenly shone brightly, shining like the heavens and warming the surrounding woods, and even touching Yuwen Yao's heart.

It's so difficult to stay alive and not die.

...

Beirong Palace.

There is still no news of Nan Lingqin and Yuwen Yao.

Sitting in the Weiyang Palace, the southernmost part of the palace, Xu Yiran sat on the ground. He was dressed in a white robe, spotless, and looked at the sky and the ground with a misty white gaze, calm and undisturbed.

Outside the hall, the guards from the Yama King's Palace stood watch, not daring to speak loudly.

Suddenly, a figure seemed to move in the air, and then a person stood in the darkest part of the entire hall. The curtains fluttered slightly, but it seemed that they could not dispel the cold light emanating from that person.

Xu Yiran's eyes flickered slightly, but she didn't get up from the chair. She simply opened her lips and said in a very soft voice, "Since when have you liked standing in the shadows?"

Is this a sarcastic remark directed at me?

The newcomer laughed, his voice low and cold, yet he had not yet emerged from the shadows. After a moment, he spoke again, "Why did you attack Beirong? Wouldn't it have been better to stay outside the city? Do you know that your attack on Beirong has ruined many of my plans?"

"Xie Danling is in your hands, isn't she?"

Xu Yiran didn't answer but asked a question instead.

The man smiled, neither denying nor admitting, still recalling his earlier question, "Give me a reason?"

These words actually had an element of command.

A moment of silence fell over the air before Xu Yiran slowly turned around, looking at the shadows of the curtain. Her clear eyes narrowed slightly, and she spoke in a low voice.

"Isn't it enough that I hate her?"

"Hate her? Don't you love her the most? You'd give up everything for her, you'd abandon the Underworld and the Heavenly Secrets Palace. You'd be willing to die for her with just one glance from her."

The man's words were sarcastic, yet chilling and biting.

Upon hearing this, Xu Yiran suddenly sneered, "Yes, you said that I love her so much, that I would do anything for her, but I love her so much, yet she just left like that, without a word of explanation, without even glancing at me once... So, should I hate her?"

"Hatred is good."

The man smiled, seemingly satisfied with the answer, then rubbed his forehead wearily. "I don't want to go back to the Heavenly Mystery Hall. Prepare a fine room for me; you know my preferences."
