Chapter 22 World Three: Shared Housing

Xu Nuo looked at him with amusement, "This is obviously the first time we met, why do you like me so much?"

Lang Xi racked his brains for a moment, "Maybe it's because you're as cute as a capybara, and pretty too."

Lang Heng twitched his lips, wanting to scold the brat for not knowing how to praise someone properly, calling such a handsome young man a slow and strange creature. But then he heard the young man hum thoughtfully and slowly replied, "Thank you, Xiaoxi. I really like capybaras."

Lang Heng silently swallowed the words he hadn't said and asked Xu Nuo to take them back to their room.

After entering the room, Lang Xi completely lost his initial arrogance and cried out pitifully like a puppy, "Grandfather..."

Lang Heng ignored him and continued to use his internal energy to heal the wound. After a while, he turned to Lang Xi and said, "We'll go back to the mountains tomorrow."

Langxi ran over and hugged his legs, crying and begging, "No, no, I want to play with Nuonuo and the capybara." Normally, he would not dare to act like this to his ancestor, but today, for some reason, it seemed as if the promise between them and him gave him an inexplicable sense of confidence.

Xu Nuo did hear the shouting of that naughty kid Lang Xi. He was about to knock on the door to deliver medicine to Lang Heng, but now he had no choice but to knock on the door.

"Mr. Lang, I'm here to bring you medicine."

Lang Heng in the room walked up to open the door, and impatiently pulled off Lang Xi who was stuck on his legs. Lang Xi immediately got behind Xu Nuo.

"Children are ignorant. I'm sorry to have embarrassed you."

Xu Nuo shook his head and said, "If you have nothing else to do, I'll leave first."

How could Lang Xi let this life-saving straw leave? He hurriedly pushed him into the house and said, "Brother Nuonuo, it's inconvenient for my uncle to apply the medicine himself. Please help him."

Xu Nuo said "oh" and looked at Lang Heng.

Lang Heng sent a message to Lang Xi, "Behave yourself and get out."

Lang Xi left obediently.

Xu Nuo sat beside the man, holding an iodine cotton ball, looking at the scary wound on his shoulder, and couldn't help but think about how painful it must have been for her lover.

Lang Heng turned his head uncomfortably and said, "Sorry to bother you."

Xu Nuo just sat there and applied medicine to him quietly. If it weren't for the shallow hot breath beside him, Lang Heng almost thought he was dead. The reason was simple: the young man touched his wound gently as if it were fragile porcelain, for fear of causing him any more pain.

Lang Heng's heartbeat suddenly skipped a beat, he retracted his shoulders, his Adam's apple rolled up and down, and the little mole became more and more obvious and charming.

"It's OK now, thank you Mr. Xu."

"Well, it's okay." Xu Nuo replied.

Lang Heng suddenly said, "Your personality is very similar to those capybaras." They are both gentle and quiet, and seem stupid enough not to know how to run away when in danger.

Coming to his senses, Lang Heng suddenly raised his voice and added in a way that made things even more obvious, "I saw you when I took Lang Xi to the zoo today..." He was still regretting in his heart how he was just like Lang Xi, not even knowing how to praise people, and comparing them to capybaras.

Xu Nuo was stunned for a moment, then smiled faintly. He seldom smiled since he came to this world. This smile reminded Lang Heng of the time when the ice and snow melted in the mountains of the territory in early spring, and he couldn't help but smile.

After realizing what was happening, Lang Heng felt even more uncomfortable, his face sullen as if he had been abandoned after his work. "I need to change my clothes, Mr. Xu..."

Xu Nuo nodded, pushed the door open, walked out and closed it again, leaning against the door and talking to 666.

"He's clearly lived for thousands of years in this world, so why is he still as moody as a child..."

666 tutted, "Then I'm a perfect complement to you."

Xu Nuo smiled, "No way, 66, we're just so compatible. What do you call it? A match made in heaven!"

666 shut down the mic and logged off.
