Chapter 176 Guanyin Shrine (Part 3)

"How could the River of Oblivion from the underworld appear beneath Lanzhou city?"

"How could Lanzhou City appear on the River of Oblivion? Yongheng, how many years of history does this Lanzhou City have?" Mo Qi asked, looking at Yongheng as he spoke.

"As far as I know, the history of Lanzhou is no less than 10,000 years. I once looked up the county annals of Lanzhou for some things, and the history recorded there goes back to 10,000 years ago."

"So that means the River of Oblivion existed from the very beginning of Lanzhou's existence?"

“What Sister Wanke said makes sense. However, not to mention how such a huge city is connected to the River of Oblivion in the Underworld, just the fact that it can be suspended above the river is beyond human capability, especially the River of Oblivion.”

The living souls do not enter the River of Oblivion, but Lanzhou City is suspended above the River of Oblivion. Logically, it should be affected, but they have not found anything unusual in the past two days, and people are living in peace and contentment.

There must be someone meticulously planning something this big, and that person behind it is no ordinary person.

Chu Yu pushed the porridge that was cooling down next to him toward the flowers and said, "It seems that if we want to find Lan Jiao, we have to go to the underworld."

Chu Yu hadn't expected that a demon princess like Lan Jiao would be involved with the underworld.

"Chu Yu, when are we going down?" Hua put down her spoon and asked Chu Yu. "No rush, finish your porridge first, and we still have to wait for someone."

As Chu Yu spoke, he picked up the porcelain bowl that Hua had pushed aside and handed it to Hua. Seeing that there was no discussion, Hua casually poked at the porridge in the bowl with a spoon.

Seeing that Chu Yu had already made arrangements for several people, they were not in a hurry and discussed the next steps while having dinner with Meng Qi.

She didn't care about what they were talking about, since Chu Yu would remind her again later anyway. Her big eyes darted around, and while Chu Yu wasn't paying attention, she gave all the porridge in her bowl to Little Mengqi.

Little Monchi looked over with his big, bewildered eyes. When he saw Hua gesturing to him, he immediately looked away. He didn't mind that Hua had eaten from it, picked up the bowl, and swallowed it in big gulps, eventually swallowing the bowl along with it.

When Chu Yu looked over again, Hua didn't say anything, but moved the bowl towards Chu Yu to indicate that she had finished eating. Chu Yu smiled helplessly and produced a spiritual fruit from somewhere and handed it to Hua.

Hua had just taken a bite when she felt a burning gaze. Slowly shifting to the left, she saw Little Monchi staring longingly at the spirit fruit in Hua's hand with his big, wet eyes.

Hua had no doubt that the little boy would be drooling with envy the next moment. Hua looked at the spirit fruit in his hand and then at the pitiful look on the little boy's face. Finally, he hardened his heart and reached out to hand the spirit fruit to the little boy.

Little Monchi, however, was quite unceremonious, grabbing the food and gnawing on it, finishing it off in just a few bites.

Hua Xiao turned to Chu Yu on the right with a very depressed expression. Chu Yu inadvertently turned around and saw a person and Meng Qi staring at him with wet eyes.

Almost bursting out laughing, everyone else at the table also noticed Huahua and Mengqi's actions and couldn't help but suppress their laughter. Little Mengqi was clueless about what everyone was laughing at and even chuckled along. Huahua, on the other hand, was so embarrassed that she wanted to disappear.

Now she had completely lost all composure, turning her head away with a flushed face. She even refused the spiritual fruit that Chu Yu offered to her mouth. Finally, seeing that Chu Yu's hand had been holding it for a long time, she felt sorry for his sore hand and reluctantly took a bite.
