Nan Yi was slightly taken aback. Zheng Yong was a little different from what she had imagined. Although they had become friends, she could tell that he was quite loyal to Kangxi.
She was already very grateful that the Emperor didn't mention her. The Emperor was too busy with state affairs to care about anything else, so why would he ask about a concubine from a prince's residence for no reason?

His every move was refined and cultured, and coupled with his handsome appearance, those who didn't know his background would think he was a young master from some noble family. They just didn't know how he became a palace attendant.
Zheng Yong held the jade Pixiu in his hand, weighed it in his hand, and said with a smile, "It's a good thing, I'll think about it."
"What are you thinking about? Even your fourth uncle wouldn't give this away. You're getting a great deal," Nan Yi said, feeling a pang of regret.
"Let's think of a way to kill Yuan Qingyi. I can't let this sword wound go unpunished." Zheng Yong changed the subject. Some things aren't just a matter of his agreement or disagreement. In his opinion, the chances of Nan Yi escaping were slim.
All under heaven belongs to the king, and all within the borders of the land are his subjects, unless she hides in the deep mountains and forests and never comes out again.
But Nan Yi's personality isn't such that he can stand being alone and quiet.
