The sound of water stopped quickly, and a corner of the blanket was lifted. Su Er felt a heat source approaching from behind, her waist was wrapped with strong arms, and she could feel the powerful heartbeat on her back.
Su Er opened her eyes in the darkness, and like many nights before, she silently counted in her mind. The numbers grew larger and larger, but her mind became clearer and clearer.
Only when the breath spraying on the back of her neck became long and even, confirming that Jiang Siyan was asleep, did Su Er quietly move her fingers.
Lying there like that was really uncomfortable, so she carefully reached her hand under the pillow. Just as she touched the familiar outline of her phone, a low, husky voice suddenly sounded in her ear: "Not asleep yet?"
Su Er was genuinely startled this time.
Pretending to be asleep would seem like going too far.
Su Er gripped her phone, propped herself up, and tried to lift the covers to leave. "Um...did I...disturb you? Or...I'll go to another room..."
Jiang Siyan didn't give her that chance, but with a little effort, Su Er lost her strength and fell into his arms.
Even in the darkness, face to face, Su Er could still clearly see his amber eyes.
She couldn't help but wonder, was he looking at her like that when she first entered the room?

"I understand." She replied, but her eyes lowered.
Jiang Siyan held her close, not in a hurry, and asked, "Still can't sleep?"
"Um."
There was a moment of silence, then a warm breath suddenly came into her ear. He blew hot air into her ear and said, "Er'er, look up."
Su Er's body trembled involuntarily; this was her most sensitive spot.
That voice was so seductive that even if you knew perfectly well that it was a demon she couldn't resist, you would still willingly take the bait.
