Chapter 109 Play with your aunt for a while

After Su Er returned home, she lay down on the sofa and dozed off for a while. The aunt woke her up after preparing the meal.

She had been eating lavishly for several days during the Spring Festival, but when she woke up, she had no appetite. Since Jiang Siyan wasn't around and no one was forcing her to eat this or that, she simply went back to her room and took a shower.

I dried my hair, patted some water on my face, and before I could even take a couple of bites, I heard the sound of a door opening in the distance.

Su Er put down her chopsticks, but her eyes refused to leave her phone screen. Only when she heard footsteps approaching did she slowly raise her eyes: "You're back..."

She stared blankly at Jiang Siyan, suddenly unable to say anything.

He... was holding a child?

Are they carrying large bags of diapers and bottles?

Su Er seriously doubted whether she had woken up from the dream yet. She patted her face; she was conscious, that's right.

This child looks somewhat like him.

The aunt went up to take the bag from his hand and was about to hug the little boy when the child turned his head away, hugged Jiang Siyan's neck tightly, and shouted defensively, "Uncle! Let's go!"

Jiang Siyan hugged him, walked to Su Er's side, and gently tapped her forehead. "What are you daydreaming about?"

“You…” Su Er paused, her mind racing with wild thoughts: Could he have an illegitimate child?

Jiang Siyan seemed to have guessed what she was suspicious about and promptly interrupted her rambling thoughts, "What are you thinking? He's my brother's son. He and my sister-in-law rarely come back, and they have some free time tonight to meet up with old friends, so they left this brat here with me."

Su Er finally snapped out of her shock and turned to take a closer look at him. The usually aloof and relaxed man now had his shirt crumpled and looked utterly helpless.

He looks... kind of cute.

Su Er's lips curled into an uncontrollable smile, which Jiang Siyan caught. He pinched her cheek and squinted his eyes, "What are you laughing at?"

Su Er slapped his hand away, pouted and pretended to be stupid, "No, I didn't laugh."

As he spoke, Su Er tilted his head back to tease the little chubby ball perched on his shoulder.

Jiang Siyan sat down on a chair nearby and said irritably, "This brat recognizes people and has been clinging to me the whole way."

Su Er quickly grabbed the little hand that was trying to escape and squeezed it. "Really? Well, thank you for your hard work."

Jiang Tingxu's little face scrunched up as he turned to look at the "big bad guy" who was holding his hand.

Su Er leaned closer to him, face to face, then touched his little face and teased him by raising her chin: "What's your name, hmm?"

Jiang Tingxu blinked and touched her face. Just a second ago, he looked reluctant, but now he suddenly burst into laughter, "Ah! Sister!"

Hearing his childish voice, Su Er smiled and said, "He can even call me 'sister,' he's so smart."

Jiang Siyan looked at his nephew with great displeasure and stopped him from leaning over and climbing onto Su Er.

Jiang Tingxu wiggled her hips in dissatisfaction and shoved him with her hand, "Go away! Go away! Sis!"

That brat! I called him "Uncle" the whole way, and now he doesn't recognize me anymore.

"What 'sister'? Call me 'Auntie'." Jiang Siyan smacked him on the butt, but couldn't resist his brute strength and was afraid of hurting him, so she had Su Er take him away.

Having gotten his wish, Jiang Tingxu sat on Su Er's lap, looked up to touch Su Er's chin, and called out, "Auntie!"

Su Er pinched his small hand and kissed it, then said with dissatisfaction, "Hey, Jiang Siyan, the way you address me makes me sound so old."

"Then what should I call you?" Jiang Siyan took the opportunity to get up, unbutton his shirt, and looked at her, saying, "Call me your sister and me your uncle. Isn't that a generational difference?"

Su Er scoffed, lowered her head, and muttered to the little one in her arms, "He's much older than me, isn't he?"

"What are you saying?" Jiang Siyan appeared behind her at some point.

"No, what did I say?" Su Er shuddered in fright, but her expression remained unchanged. She even asked Jiang Tingxu, who wasn't very talkative, to vouch for her, "You agree, right?"

Jiang Siyan was amused by her shameless behavior and couldn't help but chuckle. He ruffled her hair, leaned down and pressed his cheek against hers, and teased Jiang Tingxu, who was excitedly waving his arms, with her for a while.

"I'm going to take a shower first." He smelled of food, which wasn't exactly pleasant.

"What about him?" Su Er quickly grabbed Jiang Siyan's wrist.

She's fine with playing with you for a while, but if you really have to take care of things on your own, she's completely clueless.

Moreover, this is his older brother's child; she couldn't bear the responsibility if he were to accidentally bump into or hurt him.

“He…” Jiang Siyan pondered for a moment, then bent down to speak to Jiang Tingxu, “Tingxu, Uncle is going to take a bath. Be good and play with your aunt for a while.”

Su Er was initially only focused on taking care of the person in her arms and didn't delve into his form of address until Jiang Siyan was almost out of the restaurant when she belatedly realized what he had just said.

Aunt?

Su Er's cheeks flushed instantly. "Jiang Siyan, what are you yelling about again!"

The culprit who had caused everyone so much distress went to the bathroom with an air of nonchalance. Jiang Tingxu stared blankly as he touched Su Er's face, his clear eyes filled with curiosity about why her face had suddenly turned so red.

Su Er was both ashamed and angry, but had no chance to vent her anger, so she could only complain to the little one in her arms, "He's a bad uncle, isn't he?"

Jiang Tingxu gave a bewildered "Oh," which pleased Su Er, who happily carried him to the place he wanted to go.

This is the scene that Jiang Siyan saw when he came out of the shower.

Su Er, holding Jiang Tingxu, stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, pointing to the traffic below and answering his babbling, "Where are we going? It's so high, isn't it? Let's wave..."

Silly and foolish.

She's so thin, yet she's been carrying this chubby little one the whole time.

The first person to notice Jiang Siyan approaching was Jiang Tingxu. He hadn't seen him for a while, and the little guy still had some conscience. "Uncle! Ah! Go!"

Jiang Siyan took the child from Su Er's arms. "Don't keep holding him. Your back can't take it. Just put him on the ground and let him crawl on his own."

Su Er rubbed her aching lower back and glared at him, "How can you take care of a child like this?"

Jiang Tingxu responded with two "ah ah" sounds, expressing his deep agreement with these words.

Su Er proudly raised her chin, looking smug and saying, "See, I told you so."

Jiang Siyan was amused by the two of them, one big and one small, and said, "In the time it took me to take a shower, you two have already established a deep revolutionary friendship, haven't you?"

"Kids will listen to whoever is right."

"Alright, alright, you're right." Jiang Siyan threw the chubby boy onto the bed. "Stop being cheeky. Give this little fat boy a bath; he smells terrible."

"You can do it?" Su Er looked at him curiously.

Jiang Siyan was puzzled. "Taking a bath is difficult?"
