Chapter 50: Endure

Chapter 50: Endure

Lu Yan woke up slowly at four o'clock in the afternoon. He was afraid that Shi Han would have a bad impression of him, so he let go of her hand first.

"you……"

"Yes." Shi Han put his hands behind his back uncomfortably, "You have a fever today."

"Yeah." Lu Yan propped himself up and sat up, "Sorry to bother you again."

"We are friends, no need to be so polite." Shi Han stood up and picked up a glass of warm water on the table, "Drink some water!"

Lu Yan had a fever for so long that his throat was already hoarse. He pursed his dry lips and took the water from Shi Han's hand.

Lu Yan's every move was orderly, and every casual movement seemed to be carefully designed, smooth and seamless.

Shi Han wondered, what kind of family could raise such a person?

When Lu Yan was halfway through drinking, his hands suddenly started shaking and the water spilled onto the bed.

His face suddenly turned pale, as if he had been hit.

Shi Han suddenly thought of Lu Yan's injured hand. She quickly took back the cup and picked up the paper on the table to wipe the quilt.

She comforted him, "It's okay, the doctor has already disinfected you and changed the bandages, you'll be fine soon!"

Shi Han's hair was scattered on her shoulders. She lowered her head while wiping the quilt, and her hair slid down her shoulders and hit the back of Lu Yan's hand.

Once, once...

Lu Yan's throat became even drier, and he clenched his fists, trying to use the pain to relieve the strange itch.

The wound opened again...

Blood began to stain the bandage.

Shi Han had just finished wiping the quilt when he saw the red blood gradually seeping out from the bandage.

"What are you doing?" Shi Han glared at him anxiously.

Lu Yan's black pupils moved, and then he quickly let go of his hand, as if what happened just now had never happened.

"The wound must have broken open again." Shi Han wanted to touch it but didn't dare to. She was so angry that she couldn't help but hit him, "Why don't you take care of yourself? If you continue like this, you will definitely get a scar. Do you know how ugly the scar on your hand is?"

Lu Yan's face darkened.

Others may not understand Shi Han, but he knows this girl better than anyone.

I am obsessed with faces.

When she was five years old, she said she had never been married and wanted to be his wife.

The reason turned out to be that he was the best looking of the kids.

He whispered, "I need a doctor."

"I'll go find it now."

Shi Han quickly walked out of the ward to find a doctor.

Seeing that the patient did not take care of himself, the doctor taught him, "Don't underestimate this injury. If you are not careful, it will leave a long and ugly scar that will not go away even when you are old."

Lu Yan frowned.

Shi Han stared at the wound on Lu Yan's hand with deep sorrow.

This person really doesn't know how to take care of herself. If she finds a husband like this in the future, she will definitely teach him a lesson.

The doctor re-bandaged the wound and left. Shi Han ignored Lu Yan with a cold face.

Lu Yan lowered his eyes and wanted to lie back on the bed, but suddenly fell down.

Shi Han heard the noise and turned around to see Lu Yan rubbing his eyebrows. She stepped forward and asked, "What's wrong?"

"...headache." Lu Yan frowned, his expression slightly uncomfortable and painful.

"Wait."

Shi Han opened the door and walked out.

Before Lu Yan could hear clearly whether Shi Han meant "bear it", he heard the door closing.

He shifted his gaze to look around and found that Shi Han was gone.

She left...

Was it because he did something wrong, or was it because he didn't pretend to be pitiful enough, that she just left him alone when she saw him.

Do you hate him and think he is too troublesome?

Lu Yan slowly sat up, got out of bed and paced back and forth in the room.

He thought back to what had happened from this afternoon till now.

He seemed to have done a lot of things wrong.

He shouldn't have held her hand while he was sick, and shouldn't have left the possibility of scars on his hands.
