Chapter 51: Pitiful

Chapter 51: Pitiful

Shi Han quickly went to the restaurant near the hospital to buy a bowl of porridge and chicken soup.

She walked very fast. The weather was quite hot now, and the summer wind kept blowing on her body. Shi Han was sweating profusely, and her red lips looked more like cinnabar that had been ground thoroughly, making her face look even whiter.

Shi Yin happened to see this scene when she was waiting for the elevator on the first floor. She looked away jealously.

Many of the equipment in the hospital were reflective, and she could see her own face with just a little search.

She was not like Shi Han's cold white skin. She was very afraid of heat, and her face would turn red when she sweated. Although she had foundation on, she looked too messy compared to Shi Han.

Shi Yin bit her lips tightly, wondering why God was so kind to Shi Han.

Give her a wealthy family, a smart brain, and such a beautiful face.

Why is she so unlucky? She was abandoned by her parents when she was young and grew up in an orphanage. Even after being adopted, she still couldn't get true family love.

Shi Han was too good, so good that she couldn't help but want to destroy her.

Shi Yin came to Bai Wanjun's ward slowly. Unlike the previous two days, she was less willful and more patient.

She reached out and patted her face, slowly revealing a well-behaved smile.

She pushed the door open and whispered, "Mom."

When Bai Wanjun heard Shi Yin's voice, she didn't want to pay any attention to her.

Her face was disfigured, but luckily a plastic surgeon had come and said her problem was not serious and that with a few minor adjustments she would be back to her old self.

Bai Wanjun's indifference was beyond Shi Yin's expectations. She entered the ward, picked up the basin on the ground, poured hot water for Bai Wanjun to wipe her hands.

At first Bai Wanjun didn't let her touch it.

But Shi Yin held her face and cried, "Mom, it's all my fault. I have reflected deeply on it these two days. I will try my best to make up for my mistakes."

Bai Wanjun didn't say anything, but she didn't reject Shi Yin like she did before.

Shi Yin carefully wiped Bai Wanjun's face and brought her a bowl of chicken soup.

"Mom, try it."

Bai Wanjun lowered her head and immediately saw the blisters on Xiao Shiyin's fingers, which were red and swollen.

Shi Yin has been learning violin and piano since she was in elementary school, and she takes great care of her hands, so her fingers have always been white, tender and soft.

Bai Wanjun frowned at seeing a pair of beautiful hands ruined like this. She uttered the words with difficulty, "Hands...what happened?"

"Nothing?" Shi Yin retracted her fingers behind the bowl.

Bai Wanjun frowned even deeper, "Say..."

Shi Yin shook her shoulders as if she was frightened, tears streaming down her face. "I, I was making chicken soup for mom, and I got scalded by accident. But don't worry, mom. Although this is my first time, I've made it many times, so the chicken soup I bring here definitely won't taste bad."

Bai Wanjun looked at the chicken soup in the bowl, then at the blisters on Shi Yin's hands, and her heart finally softened.

After all, the reason why Shi Yin suddenly grabbed her arm was because Shi Han went to the hotel with a man.

When she thought about what Shi Han and that man did in the hotel, she had a heart attack.

Bai Wanjun thought that Shi Han was hopeless, but Shi Yin was different. This daughter was trained by her personally. She was beautiful and outstanding, and she was of the same mind as her.

When Shi Han walked into the ward carrying chicken soup and porridge, Lu Yan was sitting on the edge of the bed in slippers. He tilted his head towards the inside, looking a little confused.

It looked pitiful, like an abandoned large dog.

She called him, "Lu Yan."

When Lu Yan heard the voice, the gloomy and cold look in his pupils suddenly disappeared. He quickly turned his head and saw Shi Han standing at the door.
