Of course, since it wasn't hers, Ji Xiaoxiao didn't care.
"Your Majesty, I have come to plead for mercy." Ji Xiaoxiao raised her head, her eyes filled with tears, and poured out her heart. "Your Majesty, Lord Lin has rendered great service and merit. He has served as an official for over a decade, governing with integrity and diligence, working tirelessly for the people and the country. He is truly a rare and excellent official. I beg Your Majesty to spare Lord Lin. The sins of the father should not extend to the parents, nor should the punishment befall the wife and children. Whether Wanxin becomes Lady Ping or not is not something you can have just because you want to. I am the emperor of the Xuanyuan Dynasty, and my will is the will of Heaven."
