Chapter 386 Fools Don't Have Fool's Luck (Part 4)

Look at their expressions, look at their appearances, it's obvious who's good and who's bad.

Ji Xiaoxiao clapped her hands. "Generally speaking, criminals choose young and beautiful women as their targets. Teacher Li, there are plenty of girls in your class who are prettier than this student. If my Xia Xiu is going astray, why would he choose this unremarkable student with an ordinary face instead of someone pretty?"

Teacher Li was speechless with emotion. He had previously gained so much face from his tall, handsome, gentle, and beautiful students, and now he had lost face just as much.

The principal frowned, seemingly displeased with Ji Xiaoxiao's relentless pressure on the students and her sarcastic remarks. "Why should a grown man like Ji Xiaoxiao bother arguing with a little girl?"

“Miss Xia, what you said is ‘generally speaking.’ In special circumstances, Xia Xiu, who has an unusual sense of aesthetics, might just like this classmate. Nobody can say for sure.”

It's understandable that the principal would speak up for the girl out of pity; sympathizing with the weak is a common human trait, and Ji Xiaoxiao understands that. However, he went so far as to smear Xia Xiu to clear the girl's name, and Ji Xiaoxiao couldn't pretend to be magnanimous about that.

"Principal, what you're saying sounds strange to me. Are you implying that you're convinced my Xia Xiu is a bad student who's indiscriminate in his choices?"

Being generous with other people's money is shameless.

It's easy for him to talk when he's not the one suffering the consequences; does he have a distorted sense of aesthetics? He even has the nerve to say that?

"No, Miss Xia, that's not what I meant."

The principal realized he had misspoke. The truth was still unclear, and his statement was to testify that Xia Xiu's actions were true.

“Principal, my son Xia Xiu is a normal child. Although he is smarter, more handsome, and more capable than other children, he is no different from you when it comes to liking the opposite sex.”

Ji Xiaoxiao didn't want to argue with the principal and the others, so she went straight to the point and asked the girl, "Classmate, I have one last question for you. Did Xia Xiu really behave inappropriately towards you?"

The girl bit her lip, her eyes flickered, and gradually, she began to sob softly.

A petite girl was sobbing, her small shoulders swaying, looking truly pitiful. Ji Xiaoxiao ignored her and shouted, "Tell me, did Xia Xiu really do something inappropriate to you?"

The girl looked up, her eyes brimming with tears beneath her swollen eye bags.

"I..." The girl had just opened her mouth when one of the boys standing to the side angrily interrupted her, "You bitch, I won't allow you to bully our classmates."

Oh my, how touching.

“Miss Xia, I understand how you feel about Xia Xiu being injured, but please don’t yell at a little girl. She’s still a child,” the principal said earnestly.

When Mr. Li, the homeroom teacher, stood in front of the girl, he regarded Ji Xiaoxiao as a wolf or tiger. The old hen spread its wings, and his tall body blocked Ji Xiaoxiao's sharp gaze.

“Classmate, crying won’t solve anything. I’m telling you right now, if you don’t answer my questions, I’ll keep bothering you, even if you leave school and go home, even if you move away from X City. Xia Xiu is my only brother, and I’ll fight anyone who dares to mess with him.”

Ji Xiaoxiao was like a vengeful ghost, baring her fangs and brandishing her claws.

The girl swallowed hard. She was terrified. She believed the woman's words; she had no doubt that she wasn't lying. She was truly prepared to fight her to the bitter end.

"My friend, I advise you to tell the truth and get it over with as soon as possible. If you keep dragging it out, I don't know what I might do."

A long table was placed in the middle of the reception room, with chairs neatly tucked underneath. The room felt cramped and crowded with people.

Ji Xiaoxiao walked around the reception table, casually pulled out a chair, and slammed it to the ground. With a crash, wood chips flew everywhere.

The girl gasped for breath, her face turning deathly pale.

“I’ll talk, I’ll talk,” the girl said loudly. “Xia Xiu didn’t do anything to me. We didn’t even exchange a single word. It was him…”

The girl screamed, her body stiffened, and she quickly said, "No, it's me, it's my own fault. I was unwilling to be ignored by Xia Xiu, so I lied. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's all my fault, sob sob sob..."

The girl burst into tears, her emotions running high, and she nearly fainted.

"Principal, Teacher Li, did you both hear that?"

The principal sighed and shook his head dejectedly. Meanwhile, the homeroom teacher, Mr. Li, gritted his teeth, filled with resentment, though it was unclear why he was so angry or resentful.

"You have really disappointed your teacher."

Afterwards, the girl sincerely apologized.

"Never mind, she never meant any harm."

Ji Xiaoxiao generously forgave that girl.

"Miss Xia." Teacher Li was shocked.

"However, they won't be satisfied with just an apology."

Ji Xiaoxiao pointed at the seven boys.
