Chapter 434 First Love is So Pure

Tong Shi and Duanmu Sen survived for two days on a nearly meatless skeleton. A person won't starve to death after two days without food, but prolonged dehydration left them both weak and exhausted.

They didn't want to die, but living was worse than death, yet they couldn't bring themselves to be cruel to themselves, so they could only drag on and continue to eke out a living.

On the morning of the third day, the air outside the Ministry of Justice prison was crisp and refreshing.

Ji Xiaoxiao carried a gourd at her waist and came slowly, her steps rising and falling with each step, the gourd filled with clear water.

"Give me water," Duanmu Sen said in a hoarse voice.

Ji Xiaoxiao stepped on Duanmu Sen's hand and said, "Want some water?"

Duanmu Sen nodded repeatedly.

"Then, my good child, call out a few times."

Ji Xiaoxiao lifted her foot and rubbed Duanmu Sen's chin.

Duanmu Sen opened his mouth, "Woof woof, woof woof..." He barked and howled, tears streaming down his face, his upturned lips revealing an extreme sense of pleasure.

"Oh, oh, oh, what a good boy, your master loves you."

Ji Xiaoxiao took the gourd from her waist, uncorked it, and with a flick to the left, Duanmu Sen's head turned to the left, the gourd turned to the right, and Duanmu Sen followed suit. The gourd slowly poured out downwards, and a look of joy appeared on Duanmu Sen's face at a visible speed.

"Woof woof, Master, Master," Duanmu Sen said anxiously.

Lying in the cage, Tong heard Duanmu Sen's self-degrading behavior and shouted angrily, "Shut up."

"Grandmother, I'm dying of thirst," Duanmu Sen said pitifully.

We'll be able to drink water soon, we'll be able to drink water soon.

Tong felt sorry for Duanmu Sen, but the century-old reputation of the Zhengye Marquis's mansion could not be ruined.

"Sen-ge'er, come here, Grandma will give you water." Tong coaxed Duanmu Sen in a soft voice. Although Duanmu Sen loved water, he still had a little bit of dignity left and trusted Tong. He crawled over as fast as lightning using all four limbs.

"Where's the water? Where's the water? Grandmother, please give me some water!" Duanmu Sen searched Tong Shi thoroughly, inside and out, but there was no water on her at all; she had lied to him.

"You lied to me." Duanmu Sen looked hurt.

Madam Tong ruffled Duanmu Sen's messy and dirty hair, "Sen-ge'er, you are the heir of the Zhengye Marquis's mansion, and your talent and wisdom far surpass those of your father and grandfather. You are the proudest creation of my life, how can I bear to watch you degenerate into a pig or a dog?"

At some point, Tong's simply coiled long silver hair cascaded down, obscuring her face, and her soft sobs and choked voices could be faintly heard.

With a soft thud, a simple silver hairpin pierced Duanmu Sen's temple.

Duanmu Sen found it unbelievable.

If he waits just a little longer, he'll have water to drink!

grandmother!

Oh, right, Grandmother.

Duanmu Sen focused his gaze on Tong Shi.

Grandmother, we have to swallow our pride and endure hardship, even if we are treated like pigs or dogs. As long as we live, there is still a glimmer of hope for the Zhengye Marquis's mansion to rebuild its family.

Grandmother, you have ruined me, and you have ruined the Zhengye Marquis's mansion!

Duanmu Sen died with his eyes wide open, his once bright eyes forever retaining his hatred for the Tong family.

Tong pulled out a silver hairpin and, in a frenzy, gouged out Duanmu Sen's eyes.

"Since he is already dead, don't blame your grandmother for being heartless."

Tong carefully took the silver hairpin, examined it carefully, and made a small cut on Duanmu Sen's left carotid artery. Warm blood gushed out, and Tong quickly grabbed Duanmu Sen's left hand and sucked on it.

This is precious water; not a single drop can be wasted.

After finishing the most exciting part of the day, Ji Xiaoxiao walked out silently.

Another day, two days, three days passed, and Tong was on the verge of death.

Ji Xiaoxiao opened the prison door and looked down at Tong Shi from above.

"You're going to die."

"Yes, I'm going to die."

"After you die, I will tear you to pieces and feed you to the pigs and dogs."

Tong opened her eyes and said, "You truly are my granddaughter; you are ruthless. Perhaps, the person I should kill most, the person I should kill first, is you."

Ji Xiaoxiao took off Tong Shi's clothes and casually cut off a piece of flesh. "Maybe!"

Tong frowned and gave a soft hum.

"Tong, do you know what I'll do to you after I've cut off your flesh?"

Ji Xiaoxiao placed the chopped meat on the mat to the side, and then moved on to the next piece of meat.

Tong coughed and asked, "What are you going to do?"

Ji Xiaoxiao didn't deliberately tease Tong Shi, and said directly, "I will crush your bones and the corpses of Duanmu Lin into ashes, and then ask a Taoist master to perform a ritual to sever your cycle of reincarnation. Then you will be able to live peacefully as wandering ghosts forever."

You can't do that.

If one suffers in life, will one suffer again after death?

Tong wanted to turn the tide, but he lacked the strength to do so.

"Die, die, death will cleanse you up."

With each stroke of Ji Xiaoxiao's knife, less and less flesh remained on Tong Shi's body. Ji Xiaoxiao's skill was superb; even after hundreds of cuts, Tong Shi was still clinging to life.

An hour later, Ji Xiaoxiao had successfully completed her mission.

Following the plan, Ji Xiaoxiao spent about three more days busy with various tasks.

After bowing to the statue, Ji Xiaoxiao muttered to herself, "Since we're here, we might as well stay put. From now on, you should all stay here quietly and not make a fuss."

Ji Xiaoxiao poured three cups of wine on the ground and headed straight for the palace.

The Imperial Palace, specifically the Hall of Mental Cultivation, was completely surrounded by the Imperial Guards.

"Release me, and I may spare your life." Emperor Yumin couldn't understand why his good brother's daughter would try to kill him.

Ji Xiaoxiao raised her dagger and stabbed Emperor Yumin, who cried out in pain.
