Chapter 500 The Truth That Was Tampered With (End)

Too late.

Hentian's robes billowed without wind, and with a snap, the four, including Wan Gui Mozun, were sent flying in all directions. With a deafening roar, four mushroom clouds rose one after another in the distance.

Hentian sent the four Demon Lords of Ten Thousand Ghosts flying, but didn't kill them one by one; all he wanted was to save his own life. Human life was of paramount importance, let alone his own. Hentian channeled his spiritual power, his feet seemingly aided by a whirlwind, his escape speed as fast as lightning.

Ji Xiaoxiao frowned. Just as Hentian said, if he wanted to escape, she was indeed powerless to stop him. But Hentian was too arrogant, insisting on including Rong Tian in her camp. With Rong Tian's power, defying fate, destroying and creating a new world was merely a matter of a thought for him.

"He's trying to escape." Ji Xiaoxiao bit her lip and shook Rong Tian's arm.

"I won't let him escape." Rong Tian rubbed Ji Xiaoxiao's head. This girl was a master of coquetry. His mouth was dry, his throat was tight, and his body felt tense yet both painful and pleasurable.

Ji Xiaoxiao sat down next to Rong Tian and hugged his arm tightly. "Then why aren't you making a move? I'm going to make sure he dies today, otherwise all my previous preparations will be in vain."

Rong Tian glared at Ji Xiaoxiao, who, not to be outdone, looked at Rong Tian with teary eyes.

"If you glare at me again, I'll cry for you." This was a silent threat to Rong Tian. Only someone as audacious as Ji Xiaoxiao would dare to provoke such a powerful figure.

Rong Tian sighed, then casually grabbed, swung, and flicked his wrist in one fluid motion.

"Boom!" The shockwave rippled outwards, uprooting the bushes and sending them soaring into the sky.

A mile directly ahead, Hentian had a mouthful of dirt. He stared blankly around, his mind still reeling from the powerful impact. What had happened? After a while, Hentian recovered and his gaze settled on Rongtian.

"It must have been Venerable Rongtian who made the move," Hentian sneered inwardly. "I underestimated him; his strength and realm far exceeded my expectations."

Hentian brushed the dust and dirt off his body, a cold, ruthless smile playing on his lips. There were a thousand or eight hundred paths, each leading to the gates of hell; Hentian was too lazy to struggle in his death throes. In this situation where death was inevitable, killing one would be enough, killing two would be a bonus.

"Is he going to attack us?"

"His killing intent was palpable, reaching the heavens; he's going to use us as a scapegoat!"

The people in the stands stood up one after another. Hentian had murderous intent towards them, and whether for the greater good of the world or for their own lives, they could not stand idly by.

Some self-proclaimed heroes among the cultivators unleashed their magical treasures, launching ranged attacks from a distance of a mile. Hentian glanced at them casually and murmured, "Boring."

Those who unleashed their attacks were instantly bounced back by an invisible wall, striking the center of the target and inexplicably losing their lives. Blood and flesh flew everywhere, also injuring innocent neighbors nearby. The others stared intently at Hentian, their bodies involuntarily adopting defensive postures.

Hentian switched from defense to offense, charging straight towards the stands.

"Everyone be careful, he's coming."

Hentian's physical body, having been baptized by eighty-one bolts of Nine Heavens Profound Heaven and Earth Purple Lightning, was as hard as steel. He charged towards the stands at breakneck speed, completely unharmed, directly tearing a large hole in a section of the stands. Lacking support, the stands became unstable and teetered on the verge of collapse. Hentian gently blew a breath, and the stands collapsed with a deafening roar.

"Hahaha..." Hentian laughed loudly, "I've wanted to do that for a long time." He did whatever he wanted, without any restraint, trampling those self-proclaimed superior hypocrites under his feet.

The one-sided massacre by Hentian began.

Hentian was a venerable being, with few rivals in the world. In the blink of an eye, the place was littered with corpses, their entrails and all sorts of filth scattered everywhere.

The sect leader and elders of the Li Tian Dao Palace were extremely anxious. Hen Tian was one of their people, and even if they were to win by chance, all the debts and misdeeds committed by Hen Tian would be attributed to the Li Tian Dao Palace by all the sects and factions in the world.

"Sect Leader, it's our turn to make a move," Kaitian said.

The sect leader of the Heavenly Dao Palace nodded, "We will spare no effort to kill this monster that eats you."

"Yes, Sect Leader."

With the Supreme Elder and Sect Leader of the Heavenly Dao Palace all mobilized, Hentian had to be on high alert. These were no weaklings; as Supreme Elders and Sect Leaders of the Heavenly Dao Palace, they possessed both strength and shrewdness. Looking across the world, few could escape their siege.

"Hentian, stop!" Kaitian pleaded earnestly.

We are fellow disciples, and over the centuries, we have gone through all sorts of hardships and dangers, weathering storms and rains together. We have developed some kind of bond with each other.

Hentian paused, then said, “Brother Kaitian, the sword is already drawn and the arrow is already nocked. How can you expect me to turn back? Even if I surrender now, will you let me go? Will you let me go? I am already the great demon that everyone wants to kill. You claim to be eliminating demons and protecting the righteous path. If I lay down my sword, my fate will be death and my soul will be scattered.”

Hentian's words seemed to be a self-questioning and self-answering, and Kaitian no longer offered gentle guidance.

The two sides clashed fiercely, causing the sky and earth to change color. It was as if the sky had been split open, and hailstones the size of fists pelted down. The ground cracked, revealing a bottomless abyss stretching from east to west.

The sect leader and the supreme elders of the Heavenly Dao Palace stood in all directions, their bodies radiating dazzling light—a form of spiritual energy that only those with profound cultivation could achieve.

"They're about to unleash the Heavenly Dao Palace's trump card formation—Judgment." Ji Xiaoxiao watched with interest and detachment.

Rong Tian rarely spoke with a serious expression, “The forbidden formation of the Heavenly Dao Palace, the Sinful Judgment, draws upon the laws of heaven and earth. When these laws bind one, even an ordinary Venerable would be severely injured, if not killed.”

"That powerful?" Ji Xiaoxiao asked.

"The laws are the most powerful force in the world, tell me if they're amazing or not." Rong Tian tapped Ji Xiaoxiao's nose.
