"Hey, say something!" Lan Qinying didn't respond.
"Hey, if you're not dead, say something!" Ji Xiaoxiao said casually.
Lan Qinying was perfectly fine, of course; she just didn't want to face Ji Xiaoxiao's ugly face. Her rebellious streak was also at play: why should I speak just because she tells me to? Humph, I won't speak, I'll play dead, so what!

Ever since Yang Hui took away the troublesome Lan Qinying, Ji Xiaoxiao's life could only be described as "boring." Ji Xiaoxiao wanted to leave the city to see some zombies and learn more, but Lan Yihui and Yang Hui stopped her every time. Now was not the time to confront them, so Ji Xiaoxiao had no choice but to settle down and continue living there.
Seven days of boredom felt incredibly long.
"Xiaoxiao, your dad has been kidnapped!" Yang Hui came running up, panting, with several burly men chasing after her.
