After watching the two gradually disappear into the night, Wu Xu summoned his men and signaled them to go about their own business and not gather there together.

What's going on? She struggled in confusion, but the pain in her wrists became even more intense, and she clearly felt that her wrists were being bound by something. But she only remembered Xu Lingnan shooting her legs, so why were her wrists hurting so much? What on earth was binding her wrists?!
Moreover, judging from the current situation, she must have been captured by the people from Tianyu Base. Ji Yueyao closed her eyes in pain, then opened them again. There was a gap next to her, and through the gap, she could vaguely see the moon hanging in the sky.

She actually slept for a whole day? Ji Yueyao found it hard to believe. No matter how much pain she was in, it was impossible to be unconscious for an entire day!
"So it's about seven days before we get back to base?" The burly man who had been standing in front of Ji Yueyao just moments before suddenly jumped out of the car. Then, while complaining, he took out a bag of dry, hard biscuits and threw it at Ji Yueyao. The biscuits hit Ji Yueyao hard in the face and then fell to the ground with a thud.
Ji Yueyao turned her head to the side with some humiliation. It was a car that looked like a small truck, so when the metal sheet in front was pulled open, she tried to raise her head and then clearly saw what was binding her hands.
It was a series of barbed wire coils tightly wrapped around her wrists, some of the barbs already deeply embedded in them, blood flowing down her arms. The wires also bound a metal handrail on the side of the carriage, so no matter how much she struggled, she couldn't move an inch.
Her trouser leg was torn off at the thigh, just enough to expose the bandage wrapped around the wound on her leg. It seemed that the wound on her leg had been treated. Ji Yueyao breathed a slight sigh of relief. Hopefully, she wouldn't be lame now.
"Zhuangzi, you threw it on the ground, what a waste." A man wiping his gun glanced at Ji Yueyao, then casually picked up a bottle of water and took a couple of sips.
"Isn't this the female slave we brought? Do you expect me to feed her myself?!" Zhuangzi spat, yanked open the back door of the carriage, grabbed Ji Yueyao by the hair, and slammed her to the ground. "Open your mouth and eat, you slut!"
Because Ji Yueyao's head was forcibly pressed to the ground, the chains binding her arms immediately dug deep into her flesh, while those that were shallower simply tore off a layer of skin from her hands.
"ah!"
Ji Yueyao let out a painful scream, then could only lie on the ground, panting heavily. She stared wide-eyed, desperately trying to see Zhuangzi's face, but before she could lift her head, a large hand pressed down hard on her head, and her nose was slammed into the ground. Ji Yueyao was in so much pain that tears almost streamed down her face.
"Zhuangzi, are you crazy?" another man wearing glasses said. "The boss ordered us to either take this woman back or not. Don't cause any trouble."
"Hey, I'm telling you." Zhuangzi had one hand pressing down on Ji Yueyao, while the other slid down Ji Yueyao's back. He looked at the woman under his hand with lewd eyes and chuckled, "The boss didn't say we couldn't touch her. We can try her out first. I haven't touched a woman in more than half a year!"
The group exchanged glances, and then no one seemed to raise any objections. "The boss really didn't say he wanted her to go back intact."
"Then what are you waiting for, Zhuangzi?" The driver rubbed his hands together, climbed into the car, and lewdly said, "Come on, one of you keep watch while we have some fun." They were truly fed up with this ascetic life.
