“There’s no time to explain in detail now.” Kachi quickly packed her luggage, then pulled Lin Xuan and ran to his room. “I’ve already had Yao Lin contact one of my guard friends. We’re leaving the base from the south gate.”
Lin Xuan sensed Kaqi's urgency and, with Kaqi's help, quickly packed his luggage.

“He should be waiting for us at the South Gate now.” Kachi glanced back at the Xiyu base one last time, then ran straight ahead without looking back.

"I'm going to find the captain." Lin Xuan glared at Yao Lin, but couldn't bring himself to say a word of reproach. "To me, she's my partner, my friend... I only have two friends like that. One has already been destroyed by the Xiyu Base, and I absolutely won't let the other be destroyed!"
"I'll go find her too." Kachi took one last look at Yao Lin, who was silent in the night, pursed her lips, and turned away without looking back.
Lin Xuan simply waved goodbye to Yao Lin and quickly caught up with Kaqi.
None of them blamed Yao Lin, because they knew that Yao Lin's feelings for Ji Yueyao were far less unwavering than theirs. For them, Ji Yueyao was already an inseparable part of them, but for Yao Lin, he had a more important family to protect.
Yao Lin did nothing wrong, but they will not regret it.
