Chapter 6: A dog can't spit out ivory

Need to be punished!

"Ouch."

As Cong Nian turned around with the slippers in her hand, she heard a scream from He Sui.

Looking in the direction of the sound, he let out a nasty laugh.

He Sui, the big devil who is known as "not easy to mess with" in school, has a bad temper and looks scary, is being pulled by Lin Shuangshuang by the ear and walked towards the living room.

"I think you're itching for trouble, right? You have hands and feet, but can't you pick up your slippers yourself?"

"You're a grown man, why do you always bully Nian Nian?"

He Sui struggled for a long time before he was able to break free from Lin Shuangshuang's hands.

Rubbing his red ears distressedly, he complained:

"Mom, you're too cruel! Who is your biological child?"

After hearing this, Lin Shuangshuang snorted coldly, and as she turned around, she put on a friendly smile and softened her voice.

"Niannian, if that brat He Sui dares to bully you, just tell your auntie and she will teach him a lesson for you!"

Cong Nian suppressed a smile and nodded.

When passing by He Sui, she did not forget to put the slippers in her hand in front of him.

He Sui caught a glimpse of the smile on her lips, and in a rare good mood he didn't continue to act tough.

Isn't she sad?

Forget it, forget it, he is a magnanimous man and will not argue with her.

The corners of his mouth turned up and his brows relaxed, but he didn't even notice it.

After dinner, Cong Nian watched He Sui go upstairs and stayed to help Lin Shuangshuang clear the table.

I wonder if it was her illusion, but He Sui didn’t seem as bad as he seemed?

It's pretty cute, what's going on?!

After clearing the dishes, Cong Nian went upstairs to return to his room to wash up and write his military training diary.

At the end of the stairs leading to the second floor, a tall figure was leaning against the railing with his back to her.

Seems to be waiting for her.

Cong Nian felt a little nervous for no reason.

Hearing her footsteps, He Sui turned around and raised a wicked smile.

"come over."

Just two short words, but they seemed to weigh a thousand pounds.

Cong Nian moved closer reluctantly, keeping a safe distance of two meters from him.

"What's up?"

With his toes pointed at the door, he looked ready to escape at any moment.

"Reach out your hand."

He took out the ointment from his pocket.

Cong Nian was puzzled, but still did as he was told.

The cool ointment was applied to the palm of the hand, and the burning pain was relieved. The mint scent spread in the air and lingered in Cong Nian's heart.

he……

Cong Nian looked at He Sui, whose expression was extremely cautious and serious. The latter seemed to sense something, raised his head to meet her gaze, and smiled.

It was as if something exploded in her heart. Cong Nian blushed, lowered her head and coughed softly to cover it up.

"Thanks."

Warmth lingered between the two of them, and Cong Nian only felt that He Sui's fingertips were a little hot.

After applying the medicine, He Sui stuffed the remaining ointment into Cong Nian's clothes pocket and reminded her to apply it in time.

After saying that, he raised his hand and rubbed her head a little roughly, then turned around and closed the door.

The speed was so fast that it seemed like he was fleeing in panic.

Cong Nian was a little stunned, and then he straightened his hair and slipped into the door.

The diary was spread out on the table, Cong Nian was holding the pen in a daze. When she came to her senses, she found that the notebook was full of one person's name -

He Sui.
