Chapter 156 Regaining Former Identity and Taking Back Everything

The imminent battle came to a halt as the car slowly drove into the village.

Everyone was watching to see where the car was parked.

The car continued driving until it stopped in front of Qin Yu's house.

Two middle-aged men got out of one car, while Qin Ming excitedly jumped out of another car.

"Comrades, it's him! He's the one who took in that stinking intellectual! Comrades, you've done the right thing by arresting him!" Qin Ming said excitedly, pointing at Qin Yu.

He would soon see the footage of Qin Yu being taken away.

I'm so excited.

The person who went to inform on them was Qin Ming.

Qin Yu glanced at Qin Ming indifferently, then looked away and focused his gaze on the two middle-aged men.

Because the two men had been staring at him ever since he got out of the car.

It gives people the creeps.

"Comrades, arrest him! Why aren't you arresting him yet?" Qin Ming looked at the people who had stopped, puzzled as to why they were staring at Qin Yu but not arresting him.

Just as everyone was puzzled, two middle-aged men walked up to Old Du, who was standing behind Qin Yu.

He knelt down in front of Old Master Du with a thud.

"Teacher, I'm late. I've caused you so much suffering. It's my fault."

"Teacher, I've finally found you."

Suddenly, there was silence.

Everyone was stunned by what they saw.

"Comrade...aren't you here to arrest Qin Yu?" Qin Ming looked at the situation and thought, "Something's not right."

This is completely different from what he imagined! Why did he shake hands with Qin Yu?

How can those two men who look like leaders be kneeling in front of that stinking intellectual? How can this possibly continue...?

This is clearly not how things should have developed!

What does this make him look like...?

"Hello, Comrade Du Wenqing." A man in a Zhongshan suit walked straight up to the stunned Du Wenqing and said respectfully.

"You...hello." Du Wenqing looked at the black Zhongshan suit in front of her, at the patterns on it, and her eyes reddened.

"Here are your documents. Your identity has been restored, and all your assets will be returned to you. We've come here specifically to take you back. Please pack your things and come with us immediately!"

The man in the Zhongshan suit spoke respectfully.

"I...I've been cleared? I'm no longer a sinner?" Du Wenqing had waited for this day for so many years.

"Yes, you are one of our country's most precious and talented Confucian scholars, and the country needs you very much right now."

The man in the Zhongshan suit answered Du Wenqing's questions respectfully.

"I never thought I'd actually live to see this day." Du Wenqing raised her chin, looked up at the sky, and tried to hold back the tears from the corners of her eyes.

"There's no time to lose. Please pack your things and come with us immediately."

"Right now?" Du Wenqing was taken aback.

She subconsciously looked at Qin Yu.

Qin Yu held Xia Lan, who was curious and wanted to come out, and wouldn't let her out.

"Could we wait two more days?" Du Wenqing asked earnestly.

The two were taken aback, not expecting Du Wenqing to suggest waiting two more days. After thinking it over, they agreed.

"Then we came to pick you up later."

The two men in Zhongshan suits glanced at each other, seemingly plotting something.

"Thank you for your trouble."

Du Wenqing expressed his gratitude to them.

"Mr. Du, you're too kind."

The two quickly returned the greeting.

"teacher!!"

The two middle-aged men kneeling in front of Du Wenqing kept kowtowing and begging for forgiveness when Du Wenqing ignored them.

Seeing this, Qin Yu and Xia Lan knew without a doubt that these two were no good.

Old Du could always wear a smile on his face, but he defended these two people, and he wouldn't even glance at them.

"Qin Yu."

Du Wenqing walked up to Qin Yu.

"What's wrong, Mr. Du?"

Qin Yu asked with a smile.

"I'm sorry, I have to break my promise..."

Du Wenqing said with frustration that he had just promised Qin Yu that he would teach him, but now he had to obey the country and abandon Qin Yu.

"There's nothing to be sorry about. I can teach him too!"

Xia Lan waved her hand at Du Wenqing, not wanting him to have too much burden.

Qin Yu patted Xia Lan's head and smiled at Du Wenqing.

"Did you hear what my wife said? You have more important things to do than teaching me, so don't worry about me."

Du Wenqing patted Qin Yu on the shoulder, then turned to look at the families who had come specifically to arrest Qin Yu.

Aunt Hu and the others were speechless, not knowing what to say. Things had not developed as they had expected.

This scoundrel in their village seems to have a high status; their actions just now, and the fact that they even tried to arrest him...

Everything is going in the opposite direction.

"Can you arrest them all and send them to the police station?" Du Wenqing asked, looking at Aunt Hu and the others.

He remembered the arrogant way they had tried to grab him.

"This is a small matter, of course."

The two men in Zhongshan suits exchanged a glance, chuckled, and gestured to their men who had followed them. The men immediately rushed over and escorted Aunt Hu and the others to the police station.

"We know we were wrong, we were wrong, I don't want to go to the police station..." Aunt Hu threw a tantrum on the ground, refusing to cooperate.

One of them immediately chopped her with a knife, and Aunt Hu instantly fainted.

The two men threw Aunt Hu onto the back of the car as if she were a corpse.

"Qin Yu, Shi Tou, we know we were wrong, please don't let him take us to the police station..."

Some people immediately begged Qin Yu for mercy, but Qin Yu just glanced at them indifferently.

"Why didn't you think of me earlier? Now you remember me?"

"It's too late, and besides, it's not like I'm the one taking you to the police station."

Qin Yu smiled slyly, a roguish grin spreading across his face.

"People have to take responsibility for their actions. The village chief has told you this so many times, but you just wouldn't listen. Now look what's happened!"

Xia Lan smiled brightly; she loved watching them court disaster.

Then he landed himself in the police station.

"This is what they call reaping what you sow. You can't escape it."

Du Wenqing chuckled at Xia Lan's words and glanced at her.

The fourth and fifth brothers obediently walked to the side to stand as background figures, while Xu Fulin gave Du Wenqing a deep look.

I never imagined that such a person would exist in his small Shanghe Village.

Fortunately, he didn't do anything too outrageous to him, otherwise he would have been kicking himself.

They threw the troublemakers into the car and took them to the police station.

The two men were still kneeling in front of Du Wenqing, who seemed not to see them and smiled at the crowd.

"Let's go inside and have some tea!"

Qin Yu led Xia Lan and turned to walk into the courtyard, with Xu Fulin and the others following immediately.

The two leaders also wanted to get involved.

"Excuse me, animals are not allowed in."

The fifth brother glanced at them and then closed the door.

"Hahahaha..." Du Wenqing said happily after hearing what the fifth brother said.

How do you know they are animals?
